[en] The possibilities for application of transcranial dopplergraphy (TCDG) as an expert method for optimization of treatment policy by arterioventricular malformations (AVM) of cerebral hermodynamics are studied. 57 male and female patients of various age were investigated since 1987 up to 1994. The study included cerebral angiography and TCDG. It is shown that application of blood flow linear indices, reactivity and resistivity indices in feedup arteries makes it possible to accurately forecast the risk of developing hyperemetic complications after the AVM removal and to determine the preferable method for surgical intervention. The priority application of TCDG enables optimization of the process of improving the outcomes of surgical treatment and reduce the time of patients stay at stationary establishments. 36 refs., 4 tabs
