[en] Methods for investigation into Si/SiO2/Si type structures by ion Rutherford backscattering method are described. The methods are tested on silicon plates with an oxide film on the surface, covered by a pure silicon layer. [en] The purpose of the present study is investigation of inelastic collisions of 16O nuclei with 4.5 GeV/c pulse for photoemulsion nuclei nucleon. The emulsion chamber composed of BR-2 type photoemulsion layers has been irradiated at the synchrophasotron. Multiplicities are investigated for various secondary charged particles. The data are compared with the results which were obtained for interactions of protons, deuterons, 4He, 12C with the emulsion nuclei at close energies per nucleon of the projectile nucleus

[en] Consideration is given to analytical complex, enabling to realize methods of nuclear microanalysis, such as X-ray spectral analysis, analysis by prompt radiation of nuclear reactions and analysis by Rutherford backscattering. The complex is composed of hydrogen and helium ion accelerator, three channels of accelerated beam transportation with analytical equipment and automated system of data acquisition and processing. The accelerator provides the production of ion beams with continuously regulated energy in 0.5 - 2.0 MeV range, 1 μA current and energy instability of not worth, than 0.1%. 1 fig

[en] Possibility of increasing the resolution in depth of the Rutherford ions backscattering method, applied for composition analysis of thin high-temperature superconducting films and structures by improving the ion spectrometer is considered. It is shown that the specialized Si-detectors developed for α-particles with energy of ≅5 MeV make it possible to obtain energy resolution close to the theoretical limit
