AbstractAbstract
[en] The density of melted LiCl-BeCl2 blends has been measured by hydrostatic weighing. The temperature dependence of the density is given by empirical equations. Strong constriction of the blended melts is observed in the BeCl2 concentration range from 0 to 50 mol.%. This effect is due to the breakdown of the polymeric structure of BeCl2 and formation of BeCl2-LiCl compounds with bridge bonds between Cl atoms

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using the method of boiling points vapour pressure over the melts BeCl2-LiCl and BeCl3-RbCl in the range of 3.3-33.3 mol.% beryllium chloride at 864-1337 K are measured. Using literature data on e. m. f. constants of thermal dissociation of the compounds Li2BeCl4 and Rb2BeCl4 are calculated. Over the melts of Li2BeCl4 diluted with lithium chloride a considerable vapour pressure of beryllium chloride is observed and thermal stability of Li2BeCl4 is significantly lower than that of Rb2BeCl4

AbstractAbstract
[en] Tensimetric investigation of melt-vapor equilibrium in the BeCl2-CsCl system (20-33% Be) at 1078-1333 K is carried out to estimate total carrying away of Be from the melts as different compounds during Be preparation, calcUlations of partial pressures of vapor mixture components over the melts and the constants of Cs2BeCl4 thermal dissociation were carried out for the model with regard to BeCl2, CsCl, (CsCl)2 and Cs2BeCl4 in the vapor phase. Activity coefficients of the BeCl2 and CsCl in their molten mixtures are calculated. Equation of temperature dependence of Cs2BeCl4 thermal dissociation constant is obtained. The constants of the equation correspond to characteristics of the dissociation process: ΔHsub(T)sup(O)=349 KI/mol, ΔSsub(T)sup(O)=184 I/mol gr
