[en] Methods of microstructural differential thermal, X-ray phase and local X-ray diffraction analyses are used to study Ni-Zr-Mo alloys in ZrNi-Ni-Mo range. AbstractAbstract
[en] A critical review was made on available data for phase diagrams of NiMe4-Me5 ternary alloy systems. The Ti-Nb-Ni and Zr-V-Ni systems were studied experimentally with the use of X-ray diffraction, microstructural, local X-ray spectrum and differential thermal analyses. The main features of the studied diagrams topology were determined to be the coexistence of all binary phases with β-solid solution and the occurrence of quasi-binary sections of TiNi-Nb and TiNi3-NbNi3 types. The regularities in phase diagram appearance were correlated with thermodynamic stability of phases. A prediction about phase equilibria in ti(Zr, Hf)-Ta-Ni and Zr(Hf)-V(Nb)-Ni systems was presented

Liquidus surface, surface of solidus and phase transformations diagram at crystallization of V-Nb-Ni system alloys are plotted on the ground of the obtained results. Presence of Laves λ1-phase structure ternary compound (MgZn2 type), which homogeneity range on solidus surface reaches 26-55 at.% Ni by 30 at.% Nb isoconcentrate and 20-34 at.% V by Nb55Ni45-V57Ni43 cross section is determined in the studied system

[en] By the results of metallographic and X-ray phase analyses isothermal cross section of phase diagram of the Ti-Ni-Mo system in the field of Ti-TiNi3-Mo at 900 deg C is plotted. Solid solutions β on the titanium and molybdenum base co-exist with eta-, delta and epsilon-phases on the base of binary compounds Ti2Ni; TiNi and TiNi3, respectively forming two-phase and three-phase regions β+eta, β+delta, β+epsilon, β+delta+eta, β+delta+epsilon. Phase homogeneity regions on the binary compounds base in the ternary compounds system are not wide, molybdenum solubility in TiNi, TiNi3 and Ti2Ni constitutes 8, approximately 3 and < 2 at.%, respectively. Ternary phases in the investigated region of the Ti-Ni-Mo system at 900 deg C are not revealed
