AbstractAbstract
[en] Calculation of energy distribution of photons, emitted by daughter nucleus during 16O nucleus one-nucleon spallation by 2.0 GeV/c pions, is conducted within the frameworks of the direct and resonance processes unified theory. Dependence of this distribution form on reaction mechanism, phtons anisotropy and experiment organization is investigated

AbstractAbstract
[en] A theoretical treatment of the method of hadron-gamma correlations in reactions of spallation by high-energy hadrons is given. The properties of the energy distribution of photons emitted by a daughter nucleus under conditions of an (h,h'γ) experiment without detection of the knocked-out particle are studied. A theory of spallation processes based on the concept of channel coupling and uniquely allowing for the direct and resonance mechanisms of the spallation process is presented

AbstractAbstract
[en] The SU(3) statistical model for bar p(NN) annihilation was developed. The intranuclear cascade model with this elementary process was used to estimate the total rate of two-nucleon annihilation of stopped antiprotons in carbon and uranium. Those characteristics of bar pA annihilation that are sensitive to the contribution of two-nucleon mechanisms were found. The effects of heavy-meson production, Fermi motion, and neutron halo in these characteristics were discussed. 27 refs., 7 figs., 3 tabs

AbstractAbstract
[en] The intranuclear-cascade model is developed for inelastic interactions between antinucleons (also antideuterons) and nuclei at energies up to 10 GeV. The model includes the effects of the local reduction of the nuclear density during the development of the cascade and the production of mesonic resonances and their subsequent interaction with the nuclear medium, and takes into account the deexcitation of the residual nuclei through evaporation and multifragmentation. These improvements enable the authors to compare the calculations with experiment. New physical phenomena which become noticeable in the antinucleon-nucleus interaction are discussed. 36 refs., 14 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] Correlations between the average multiplicity of protons and the multiplicity of pions produced in inelastic interactions of pions, protons, and antinucleons with nuclei are considered in the framework of the intranuclear cascade model. The intranuclear cascade model, which is based on the representation of the nucleus as a set of scattering nucleon centers and which takes into account trawling of the nucleus, describes well the entire body of experimental data on these correlations, with the exception of the sole measurement of the bar nTa interaction at high energies (Ebarn = 5 GeV). Possible reasons for the discrepancy between the theory and experiment are discussed. 22 refs., 8 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] A simple expression for the inclusive cross section of η production on light nuclei by protons has been obtained in the first collision approximation in the framework of the intranuclear cascade approach. An intranuclear cascade model which takes into account η production by primary proton and secondary pion, elastic scattering of η of intranuclear nucleons and absorption of η in nuclear matter has been developed. The calculated cross sections are found to be in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Negative pion production by deuterons on light nuclei has been considered in the framework of the intranuclear cascade model. Characteristics of secondary particles have been calculated by means of the internuclear cascade model for C and Be extended targets. A satisfactory agreement with experimental data for thin and extended targets has been found for different deuteron energies. Dependencies of pion yield on the target size and deuteron energy have been analyzed in detail. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The effects of production of mesonic resonances and their subsequent interaction with the nuclear medium are considered in the framework of the 'optical+cascade' model that describes the absorption of stopped antiprotons by nuclei. Basing on the statistical model with SU(3) symmetry, we analyze the data on heavy meson production in anti pN annihilation and develop a scheme for calculating the exclusive characteristics of this process. We estimate the cross sections of the interaction of η- and ω-mesons with nucleons. We develop the model of the intranuclear cascade with account of the η- and ω-mesons. We find those characteristics of anti pA annihilation at rest that are sensitive to the effect of heavy meson production. (orig.)
