AbstractAbstract
[en] To further improve the accuracy and detection efficiency on the leakage monitoring with 13N of pressurized water reactor, a five-detectors and ten coincidence circuit is designed. The circuit adopts STC89C52 single chip microcomputer as the core part of counting processing, and the measurement result are displayed by the computer. The experimental results show that the main performance indexes of this coincidence circuit satisfy the design requirements and it is applicable to the leakage monitoring with 13N of pressurized water reactor. AbstractAbstract
[en] Accurate measurement of 13N gas concentration in containment is a key issue in nuclear power plant primary loop pressure boundary leakage monitoring. The transport process of the first-loop neutron activation product 13N in the containment was investigated by using the computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT, and the concentration of different regions in the containment was obtained. The calculation results show that after the l3N gas leaks for 700 s, the concentration of each representative region is stable within the range of 1.70% with the average concentration of 700 ∼ 750 s. The specific concentration of 13N gas in different regions helps the 13N radiation monitoring instrument to obtain a more accurate primary circuit leakage. (authors)

[en] This paper describes the design of a kind nuclear gauge union function instructional meter, for experiments with three types of nuclear gauge-including level gauge, density gauge and thickness gauge. Hardware design and software design are introduced. Hardware design involves the system construct and circuit principle design of signal processing module (SPM) based on the TMS320LF24 Series DSP chip. The SPM is made up of power supplier conversion circuit, Clock and reset circuit, liquid crystal display circuit and PC interface circuit. Relied on the DSP chip, the speed of SPM on digital signal acquisition and processing is improved. On the software design, modularized program has been used, the procedure flow chart is introduced, and explanation on digital processing is given. (authors)
