[en] Using static method the coefficients of 25 element distribution between microporous phosphonic acid cationite KRF-20t-60 and nitric acid solutions in the concentration range of 0.1 - 2.0 mol/l were determined. Cationite KRF-20y-60 possesses a close affinity to certain multivalent ions of metals, such as Fe(3), In(3), Ce(4), Ti(4) and others. The mechanism, explaining the increase of cerium (4) sorption with the increase in the acid concentration above 2 mol/l, is suggested. Example of lead and bismuth artificial mixture separation is presented

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using static and dynamic methods distribution coefficients of scandium, titanium and vanadium in differet oxidation states between sulfocationite KRS-8p and hydrofluoric acid solutions in the range of concentrations 0.1 - 1.0 mol/l are determined. On the basis of investigations conducted a method of vanadium-48, 49 radionuclide separation from titanium target irradiated in a cyclotron is suggested. The method is tested using a real commercial target and it provided good results. The yield of vanadium-49 radionuclide constituted 97 %, specific activity is 1.75 x 1012 Bq/g and radiochemical purity is > 99 %

[en] Ce(3, 4), Eu(3), Gd(3), Sm(3), Sc(3) distribution coefficients are determined in the macroporic phosphonic acid cationite KRF-20T-60 in nitric acid solutions in 0.1-2.0 M concentration interval using statistical method. A simple method of cerium-139 radionuclide extraction from the industrial lanthanum target is developed. The product yield made up more than 99%, specific activity - 2.37x109 Bq/mg, radiochemical purity - no less than 99.9%

[en] The distribution coefficients of scandium, titanium, and vanadium in various degrees of oxidation between the sulfonic acid type cation-exchange resin KRS-8p and hydrofluoric acid solutions in the concentration range 0.1-1.0 mole/liter have been determined by static and dynamic methods. On the basis of the research performed, a procedure is suggested for separating the radionuclides vanadium 48 and vanadium 49 from a titanium target irradiated in a cyclotron. [en] The static method and the example of cadmium(2), cerium(3) and thorium(4) are used to study the establishment of equilibrium during sorption of different-valent ions on a macroporous phasphonic acid cationite KRF-20t-60. It is shown that the increase of ion valence brings about the increase in the time of establishing equilibrium. It is found that cadmium(2) and cerium(3) sorption is determined by mixed diffusion kinetics. Thorium(4) sorption at the initial stage is mainly determined by external diffusion process. Moreover, the rate of thorium absorption is primarily connected with comparatively slow diffusion in the cationite state

[en] The distribution coefficients of 23 elements between the macroporous phosphonic acid cation exchanger KRF-20t-60 and hydrochloric acid solutions with concentrations ranging from 0.1-2.0 M have been determined by a static method. The KRF-20t-60 cation exchanger has a high affinity toward Fe(III), Sc(III), and Ti(IV) ions. A discussion of the results obtained and the possibilities of their use for the separation of various elements has been carried out.
