AbstractAbstract
[en] Pulse radiolysis with spectrophotometric recording reveals new short-lived intermediate products from aqueous SO2, which are formed only for CSO2 > 0.06 M. The absorption from them is maximal at 390 and 560 nm. They are formed by the reaction of H atoms with one of the equilibrium forms of SO2. They have been assigned on a preliminary basis as ion-radical clusters (SO2)-sm-bullet with 1 < n < 5. Two mechanisms may be involved in the transformation of SO2 in aqueous solution under irradiation, which are dependent on the concentration

AbstractAbstract
[en] The radiolytic transformations of water-soluble cobalt tetrasulfophthalocyanine (CoIITSP) were investigated to model the catalytic reactions of charge transfer in reactions of reduction of molecular oxygen and oxidation of sulfur dioxide. The role of the dimeric forms and charge transfer states (CoIITSP...O2) in redox reactions were initiated by a pulse of accelerated electrons. The spectral and kinetic characteristics of a complex of the O2- radical anion with CoIITSP were measured

AbstractAbstract
[en] As radiation dose and pigment oxidation degree increase, decoloration of anthocyanidins becomes more intensive within the self-absorption band. The kinetic analysis of the optical absorption signal fading during impulse radiolysis has been carried out and the pig ment decoloration constants in deaerated solutions calculated. The oxygen treatment regenerates the pigment's colour which enables us to assume that anthocyanidins are highly radioresistant in acid media in the presence of oxygen

AbstractAbstract
[en] Intermediate radiolysis products of sulfolene-3 (particles with λ/sub max/ = 260 and 640 nm) and sulfolene-2 (particles with λ/sub max/ = 255 and 280 nm) were studied by the method of pulse radiolysis with optical recording. It was suggested that the particle with λ/sub max/ = 640 nm is the molecular radical anion or radical anion pair, while the particle with λ/sub max/ = 255 and 260 nm represents allyl radicals. The kinetic equations of the death of the recorded particles were obtained by a differential method
