[en] The french nuclear industry would have never been unable to attain such a development as the present one without the existence and efforts, besides huge companies and industrial groups, of a group of medium or small scale companies specialising in one or several fields, sometimes very limited. A survey of these small and medium sized companies is established. Based on well defined exemples, in an obviously incomplete way, the part they took and the problems they had to cope with when entering the nuclear industry are described
