AbstractAbstract
[en] The homogeneous prominence of spherical form is considered. The isotropic line scattering, complete frequency redistribution and the Doppler line profile are assumed. It is supposed that primary sources of radiation are distributed uniformly through the medium. The method of determination of optical radius of prominence by means of the observed line profiles, developed for the case of pure scattering, in the earlier paper, is generalized for the case of any lambda photon survival probability. The modification of the method is elaborated, where the line equivalent widths instead of central intensities are used

AbstractAbstract
[en] The question of asymmetry of line profiles in the spectra of Solar formations is considered. The probable causes of non-symmetry are indicated. The earlier model of gaseous sphere (the isotropic line scattering, complete frequency redistribution and Doppler line profile) is generalised for the medium with complicated geometry and gradients of physical conditions and radia velocities. Such medium approximately is supposed as an assemble of spheres with different parameters. The formulae for the full illumination are derived. The theoretical line profiles in the case of pure scattering for the system of two spheres with given values of parameters are calculated. The system of two identical spheres (with the optical diameters in the line centre equal to 20) gives the symmetric line with 3 maximums, and the system of two nonidentical spheres (with diameters equal to 20 and 35, respectively) gives asymmetric line with 3 maximums too. Some conclusions are given
