AbstractAbstract
[en] Full text: The 9Be projectile breakup (9Be → 8Be+n → α+ α + n) has been investigated for 9Be+12C reaction at a bombarding energy ELab = 21 MeV. The 8Be energy spectra were reconstructed using α + α coincidence measurements. A preliminary analysis of these spectra suggests that for the high energy region the main contribution is due to neutron transfer to the 12C target, and the low energy region of the spectrum can be attributed to the 9Be non-capture breakup process. We also measured elastic scattering angular distributions at energies around the Coulomb barrier (ELab = 13.0, 14.5, 17.3, 19.0 and 21.0 MeV) in order to check the possible occurrence of a threshold anomaly in the optical potential. The data were analyzed in the framework of the Sao Paulo potential and, within the experimental uncertainties, the existence of this threshold anomaly could not be confirmed. The experimental elastic scattering angular distributions were well described by the optical potential at forward angles for all measured energies. However, for the three highest energies, an enhancement was observed for intermediate and backward angles. This could be explained by the elastic transfer mechanism. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this work, angular distribution measurements for the elastic channel were performed for the 9Be + 12C reaction at the energies ELab=13.0, 14.5, 17.3, 19.0 and 21.0 MeV, near the Coulomb barrier. The data have been analyzed in the framework of the double folding Sao Paulo potential. The experimental elastic scattering angular distributions were well described by the optical potential at forward angles for all measured energies. However, for the three highest energies, an enhancement was observed for intermediate and backward angles. This can be explained by the elastic transfer mechanism.

AbstractAbstract
[en] A study of the kinematics of the α -d coincidences in the 6Li+59Co system at a bombarding energy of Elab=29.6 MeV is presented. With exclusive measurements performed over different angular intervals it is possible to identify the respective contributions of the sequential and direct projectile breakup components. The angular distributions of both breakup components are fairly well described by the Continuum-Discretized Coupled-Channels framework (CDCC). Furthermore, a careful analysis of these processes using a semiclassical approach provides information on both their lifetime and their distance of occurrence with respect to the target. Breakup to the low-lying (near-threshold) continuum is delayed, and happens at large internuclear distances. This suggests that the influence of the projectile breakup on the complete fusion process can be related essentially to the direct breakup to the 6Li high-lying continuum spectrum. (orig.)
