AbstractAbstract
[en] A new solid-state detector for estimating the 10B content in vitro in biological tissues is developed. A new polymer composition is used as the detector. A linear dependence of the track quantity on the boron content in the range of its concentration 0.5-200 μg 10B/g in biological samples with the mass of 100-500 mg is presented. The recommendations on using the developed 10B detector in are formulated

Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] The study was aimed at investigating the pharmacokinetics of chrysanol, an antiinflammatory drug, in the organism of laboratory animals following a total low-dose exposure. The distribution of sodium salt of aurothiopropanol-2-sulfonic acid, a precursor of chrysanol was examined in irradiated organs and tissues. As agent labelled with 35S in indicator quantities was utilized. Total irradiation in doses of 0.1 to 1.5 Gy was found to influence the drug pharmacokinetics, which manifested mainly by a reduction of its level in irradiated animals organs 3 and 24 postradiation. Accelerated elimination of the agent from the organism of exposure rats may be significant in therapeutic use of chrysanol Na salt. Study of the pharmacokinetic parameters of different radiopharmaceuticals may be used as a fine instrument for investigating the biological effects of low-dose ionizing radiation

Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of the present investigation was the radioisotopic study of the pharmokinetics of the new, previously synthesized (by the authors) antiviral preparation arbidole, which was authorized for medical use as a prophylactic agent and for treating influenza. Moreover, the investigations have shown that arbidole has an antimetastatic action in experiments on animals. The method of synthesizing arbidole 14C labeled at two atoms is discussed. It is concluded from the results that the maximal levels of radioactivity in the organs and tissues of mice is recorded during the first hour after peroral administration of 14C-arbidole. According to the degree of accumulation of the radioactivity, the organs and tissues can be arranged in the following (decreasing) order: liver, blood plasma, kidneys, lungs, spleen, thymus, adrenal glands, lymphatic glands, thyroid glands, hypophysis. Up to 90% of the introduced radioactivity is eliminated from the organs during the first day. 4 refs., 2 tabs

AbstractAbstract
[en] Pharmaceutical characteristics of synthesized compounds were studied and assessment of their possible usage as radiopharmaceuticals was conducted in experiments with mice, rats and rabbits. The following compounds were studied: pyrimidothiazine, krizanol, toberone, sulfadiazine, abdidol. Pharmacokinetic features of these drugs were investigated with help of labelled compounds. Chemical structure of products of biotransformation of some prepartions was studied that was the basis for understanding of mechanism of their action. Investigating results are important for clinical usage of these preparations

AbstractAbstract
[en] The purpose of the research was adaptation of solid-state detectors of the both nuclear and radiation on the basis of the new detector for quantitative analysis of boron 10 in vitro in biological samples. The procedure of examination included use of the dried sample of heparinized blood of laboratory rats as a biological material. The channel of thermal column of reactor was used as a source of neutrons. The analysis of the obtained results specifies a linear relation of number of tracks via boron 10 quantity contained in the sample. In the process of testing of this procedure the analysis of biological samples containing boron 10 in the composition of neutron-catching therapy was used. The minimal quantity of boron 10 in the biotest was 0,5 μg, maximal quantity was 33,3 μg. In the process of examination was shown a possibility to analyse bio samples of less than 500 mg for study of pharmacological kinetics of boron-containing agents in organism of laboratory animals
