AbstractAbstract
[en] The preparation procedure used to obtain superconducting thin films by radio frequency magnetron sputtering of a single mosaic target is described in detail. The single mosaic target is composed of (Y-Er), BaF2, and Cu

AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper reports on thin films of the high-temperature superconductor Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x grown in situ by ion beam sputtering from metal binary alloys. The metal binary allows used were YCu and BaCu. The correct composition of the deposited film was obtained adjusting the position of the targets with respect to the ion beam. The films were deposited onto heated SrTiO3 substrates in oxygen partial pressure. After deposition the samples were slowly cooled to room temperature with a short step at 450 degrees C. The films did not need any further annealing after deposition and showed superconducting properties

AbstractAbstract
[en] Superconducting thin films of (Y-Er)BCO of good quality have been obtained from metallic precursor thin films containing the necessary amount of Barium as BaF2. These films can be grown c-oriented, but their orientation as well their physical properties depend critically on the values of the experimental parameters chosen for the preparation procedure. In this paper the authors discuss the role of the film thickness and of the substrate quality. The properties of the superconducting films are very stable with the time now more than nine months
