[en] Peculiar features of nuclear energy supplies (NES) determining prospects of their utilization in Northern and far-away country areas as well as difficulties in their introduction are considered. Main problems and peculiarities of personnel training for these NES and ways of their realization are regarded. Basic peculiarities and stages of personnel training for leading (experimental-industrial) and serial NES are pointed out

[en] Method of diamond burnishing is supposed to be used for assuring the designed roughness and integrity of valve surfaces of steam-water fittings. Using artificial and natural diamonds the method is applied for processing KhN80SP2, Kh16N7S5, Kh1G6N9S5M44B, 08Kh18N10T alloys with their succeeding test at 400 MPa contact pressure on the base of 500 cycles of loading. As a result of solving optimization models reoimes of diamond burnishing were developed which increase the time of failure-proof operation of valves by 50-126% for different combinations of materials

AbstractAbstract
[en] Ways of increasing economic efficiency of district-heating nuclear power plants (DHNPP) operating in isolated systems of power-supply and district-heating and incorporated in control over the schedule of power loading are analyzed. Prospective advantages of using systems of heat accumulation in DHNPP of the considered type is proved on the example of ''Sever-2'' DHNPP. It is concluded that heat accumulation under conditions of DHNPP autonomous operation would permit to generate additionally an essential quantity of electric power and would assure essential economic efficiency

AbstractAbstract
[en] Fuel channel of a nuclear reactor for a nuclear district heating plant is described. The channel comprises a vessel, a heat exchanger built into a channel, and a fuel assembly. For the purpose of multiple utilization of the channel vessel and built in heat exchanger, the latter is fixed on a lower side of a channel flange, and a fuel assembly is fixed on a dividing tube, to be extracted from a channel if necessary

AbstractAbstract
[en] Nuclear reactor comprising the primary circuit fuel channels, situated in a moderator and cooled by a cooler, for example by water under pressure, is described. To improve reactor operation reliability the primary circuit fuel channels are made in a form of autonomous modules with a circuit of natural convection inside each module. The modules are joined to groups with a common pressurizer system. Utilization of the above reactor design simplifies the flow sheet and increases reactor reliability and radiation safety, decreases a probability of the primary circuit leakage and improves pressure-suppression at the accident like this

AbstractAbstract
[en] A great complex of work has been performed in the Soviet Union in the field of small nuclear power engineering. The experimental small nuclear power plants TES-3, ARBUS and VK-50 have been created. the Bilibinskaya nuclear heat and power plant (NHHP) has been built in the remote North region of the Chukot Peninsula. At the current stage, activities in the field of small nuclear power engineering are aimed at creation of small nuclear power plants (SNPP) capable to supply electricity and heat to the consumers located in isolated, underdeveloped, remote, inaccessible regions. At the SNPP it is envisaged to use specially designed reactors. Safety concept, technical solutions and other measures provided in these reactor designs make it possible to ensure their excellent features. These features are the key ones when determining the expediency of SNPP creation and utilization. (author). 4 refs., 1 tab
