AbstractAbstract
[en] It introduces a method of a software development which is based on high speed PC oscilloscope for pulsed magnetic field measurement system. The previous design has been improved by this design, high-speed virtual oscilloscope has been used in the field for the first time. In the design, the automatic data acquisition, data process, data analysis and storage have been realized. Automated point checking reduces the workload. The use of precise motion bench increases the positioning accuracy. The software gets the data from PC oscilloscope by calling DLLs and includes the function of oscilloscope, such as trigger, ranges, and sample rate setting etc. Spline Interpolation and Bandstop Filter are used to denoise the signals. The core of the software is the state machine which controls the motion of stepper motors and data acquisition and stores the data automatically. NI Vision Acquisition Software and Database Connectivity Toolkit make the video surveillance of laboratory and MySQL database connectivity available. The raw signal and processed signal have been compared in this paper. The waveform has been greatly improved by the signal processing. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The design of full digital electronic gun high voltage power supply based on DSP was introduced in this paper. This power supply has innovations of full digital feedback circuit and PID closed-loop control mode. The application of high frequency resonant converter circuit reduces the size of the resonant element and transformer. The current-coupling distributed high voltage transformer and rectifier circuit were employed in this power supply. By this way, the power supply efficiency is improved and the number of distributed parameters is reduced, and the rectifier circuit could work under the oil-free environment. This power supply has been used in electronic grid-control high voltage system of the irradiation accelerator. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A novel high voltage switching circuit with parallel resonant topology is analyzed. Without adding other resonant components, this circuit makes full use of the transformer leakage inductance and winding capacitance so as to reduce the influence of the transformer parasitic parameter. Using device CD4046 to realize the switching control of MOS, this circuit can realize the constant-current charging to capacitor by operating the above resonance. The operating process of the circuit is analyzed, and the power calculation and some practical waveforms are given. (authors)

[en] The cell circuit design and test of a high power solid state modulator for linac application are presented in the paper. The 3.3 kV IGBT and large dimension nanocrystalline core are used in the cell circuit design. The driving, protection, reverse energy absorbing and bias circuit are also presented. Dynamic magnetic performance of the core and the waveforms of the cell circuit are measured. (authors)

[en] A fully digital FM Controller for high voltage power supply is introduced based on DSP, AD9850, AD976 chip, etc. The power supply works under the ARM mode of the parallel resonant circuit. Through the dosed-loop control by PID algorithm, IGBTdriver circuit can adjust itself by step 1Hz, so the stability of the high voltage power supply's output voltage can be guaranteed. (authors)

[en] A novel high voltage charging circuit specially designed for the prototype kicker modulator of the Hefei Light Source storage ring was presented. Zero-current series resonant switching techniques and a simple charging voltage control scheme was adopted in the circuit. Simulation model was established to study the performance of the circuit with a high voltage capacitor load. AbstractAbstract
[en] Several technical schemes of constructing a injection kicker magnet and its vacuum chambers are firstly reviewed and discussed. A method of using ferrite kicker magnets with ceramic chambers inside is adopted in HLS new injection system. The inner surfaces of these ceramic chambers are coated with a metallic layer to meet the requirements of both the penetration of pulse magnetic field and small beam coupling impedance. The loss factors and wake fields of the ceramic chambers with and without coating are measured. Broadband impedance parameters of these ceramic chambers are obtained by fitting the measured data. Combining the results of magnetic field studies, an improved coating scheme is proposed for the new ceramic chambers

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper, a summary of the existing three-kicker injection bump system of the HLS ring is presented and a new, lattice-independent, four-kicker bump system which has been proposed for the second phase project of NSRL is described. Conditions for generating a bump orbit by four kickers are discussed. A theory of multiturn injection based on single-particle dynamics is introduced to analyse the conditions to achieve multiturn injection. Tracking study of the new system are carried out to verify the correctness of the scheme. Parameters such as dimension of the injected beam phase space ellipse, tolerance of the injected beam energy dispersion, timing jitter allowance of the kickers, etc., are calculated. (orig.)
