AbstractAbstract
[en] A study was made on glass formation region, crystallization ability, optical and thermooptical properties of glasses of KPO3-Nb2O5-WO3 system. Peculiarities of their composition were revealed by the method of IR spectroscopy. Regions of colorless glasses, referred to athermal langflint, were revealed. IR spectra were used to establish, that main structural components of anionic net of these glasses were presented by phosphate chains, composed of [PO4] tetrahedrons

[en] A study was made on mechanical properties of alkalisilicate glasses, containing tantalum oxide. It is shown that partial elastic young and shear moduli of tantalum oxide exceed the corresponding values for all other oxides in alkalisilicate glasses. Increase of tantalum oxide content in alkalisilicate glasses up to R2O/Ta2O5 = 1 leads to formation of structure with the presence of mobili cation fluid R+, that is leads to superionic glass structure

[en] Change of chemical stability at MP-UP transition for glasses of eight pseudobinary systems ''source glass-phosphorous oxide (V)'' has been studied. It is shown that weakening of stain capability and decrease of resistance to humid atmosphere effect are charateristic of phosphate glasses in different systems at MP-UP transition. Cause of such duality of changing chemical glass stability at MP-UP transition remains for the present interesting but difficultly solvable problem

AbstractAbstract
[en] The properties of phosphate glasses containing Sr-, Cs-, In-, Cd-, Sc-, I-, La-, Ce-, Nd-, Nb- and other oxides were calculated by their chemical composition. The partial values of the indices are cited of refraction, average dispersion and structural mass. The use of the system of partial properties was shown to permit calculations of phosphate glass properties with an error corresponding to the reproducibility of the parameters of such glasses under diverse fusion conditions

AbstractAbstract
[en] A system for calculating thermal conductivity and phosphate glass (PG) thermal stability is developed for the first time. The given calculation system allows one to quite accurately and without conducting an experiment, forecast the basic thermophysical PG parameters in a wide rande of their compositions, as well as thermal stability of products fabricated of them

AbstractAbstract
[en] Studies of the changes in refractive index (RI) Δn as a result of ion exchange from molten salts in glasses of lithium-sodium-silicate system, containing ZrO2, have been carried out for the first time. Ion exchange was realized in the melts of sodium and lithium salts using cubic samples of the glass of the dimensions 10 x 10 x 10 mm3. Changes in RI in alkali silica glasses, containing ZrO2 (or TiO2), in the process of high-temperature ion exchange are shown to be determined by concentrational change, also they reflect structural peculiarities of initial glasses. Good diffusion and ion exchange properties of alkali silica glasses, containing ZrO2 and TiO2, show the prospect for their use in practical formation of gradient glasses

AbstractAbstract
[en] An effect of magnetodependent microwave absorption in weak magnetic fields has been detected in borosilicate glass with additions of copper and iron oxides. The form of this absorption provides good ground to expect superconducting inclusions in the form of separate clusters in this material. From the temperature dependence of the effect the critical temperature of this hypothetical phase (∼ 10 K) has been determined and by means of comparison with the HTSC ceramics signal its concentration (10-3 - 10-4 against the volume of the material) has been found

AbstractAbstract
[en] Magnetosensitive microwave absorption has been studied in oxide glasses enriched with iron or nickel ions. Conditions have been found under which magnetosensitive microwave absorption has the superconducting form, namely, it increases with field in weak magnetic fields, with the derivative of absorption with respect to magnetic field being at a maximum at fields of the order of 100 Oe. For glasses enriched with Fe ions, these conditions are the following: reduction of Fe3+ ions to Fe2+ and presence of Mg ions in the glass. For glasses enriched with Ni ions, the primary condition is formation in these glasses of tetrahedral structural complexes [NiO4]. In their opinion, such an absorption is due to the presence in these glasses of small-sized superconducting inclusions. Ways of increasing the concentration of these inclusions are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] Superconducting formations in macroscopically nonconducting silicoborate, phosphate and germanate glasses alloyed by nickel oxide have been studied by the effect of magnetosensitive microwave absorption. the results being presented. It is shown that dependence of concentration of the superconducting formations in the glasses on nickel oxide content in them passes through a maximum, its value and position depending on the base composition and structure
