AbstractAbstract
[en] One analyzed regularities of radiation heredity in metals and alloys. One made conclusion about thermodynamically irreversible changes in structure of materials under irradiation. One offers possible ways of heredity transmittance of radiation effects at high-temperature transformations in the materials. Phenomenon of radiation heredity may be turned to practical use to control structure of liquid metal and, respectively, structure of ingot via preliminary radiation treatment of charge. Concentration microheterogeneities in material defect structure induced by preliminary irradiation represent the genetic factor of radiation heredity

Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] Here we are presenting results of structure changes processes investigations taking place in preliminary ordered intermetallic compound Fe3Al at cold tempered (deformation degree > 80%), cold worked samples irradiation in reactor WWR-K (fluences from 1 x 1018 up to 5 x 1019 n cm-2, E ≥ 0,1 MeV, Tirr < 80 C) and post-irradiation annealing in temperature range 20-800 C (the time of samples exposition at definite temperature was 2 hours). The structure characteristics were investigated by the means of high temperature X-ray analysis in UVVT-2500 chamber of DRON-3,0 apparatus and by Moessbauer spectroscopy on the cooled to a definite temperature powder samples. It was determined that both cold worked and cold worked and irradiated up to the fluencies not more than 5 x 1018 n/cm-2 samples have completely disordered structure. Under the heating process the ordering takes place in both set of samples but it begins at different temperatures: at 300 C for cold worked samples and at 350C for cold worked and irradiated ones. The results are interpreted on the base of the model of atoms separation in the region of displacement cascades. (A.A.D.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper devotes to study of hydrogen and deuterium storage and research of capturing hydrogen and deuterium in tungsten samples irradiated with plasma beam. The paper shows that some changes occur in the surface like relief propagation caused by heterogeneous surface etching after irradiation with hydrogen plasma. Ratio of change in relief and structure of irradiated samples’ surface layer herewith depends on the irradiation temperature. Hydrogen and deuterium storage in tungsten have been studied while their irradiation with hydrogen and deuterium plasma. Thermo-desorption analysis of tungsten samples irradiated with hydrogen and deuterium plasma at 1000°C degrees showed that tungsten surface became saturated with deuterium and did not become saturated with hydrogen. Results obtained in optoemission spectrometer showed hydrogen accumulation on the surface layer of tungsten samples irradiated with hydrogen and deuterium plasma up to 7 μm deep. In samples herewith, irradiated with hydrogen plasma at the depth of 0,2-0,3 μm there is a clearly visible peak related to hydrogen near surface accumulation. Then the intensity is declined. Tungsten sample irradiated with deuterium plasma, intensity peak is observed at the depth of 2 μm; hydrogen distribution depth is smaller than by the samples irradiated with hydrogen plasma. The data obtained by emission spectrometry and thermo-desorption spectrometry verified, that the basic share of captured deuterium is accumulated at the depth of up to 7 μm. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Data of experimental studies on tantalum surface structure change and it microhardness in the result of carbon ion implantation are presented. The tantalum samples with purity 99.96 % having cylindrical shape (height 55 mm and diameter 4.5-5 mm) after polish were irradiated by carbon ions with energy 60 keV in the range 5·1016-5·1018 cm-2 at the DIANA facility. The microhardness measurement has been conducted on the PMT-3 device on the irradiated surface and along samples cross section. The microstructure has been examined on the NEOFOT-21 optical microscope, and phase-structural transformations were studied on the 3.0 DRON X-ray diffractometer with application of CuKα radiation. It is determined, that under carbon ion implantation into tantalum surface layers the texture tantalum carbide phases and tantalum monocarbide arise. Post-radiation thermal annealing leads to tantalum monocarbide decay and tantalum carbide particle sizes increase. It is determined, that phases got under C+ implantation have introduction phase structure with dense atom packing. Ion doping leads to tantalum surface hardening. Hardening rate depends on the irradiation fluence. Maximal hardening has been observed on the surface, the maximal microhardness increase extension along whole samples thickness. Due to carbon ions implantation the microhardness is increasing in 3 times near surface, and up to 1.5-3 times over samples thickness

[en] Purpose of the work is study of spring alloy 47XHM changes under aging in the temperature range 500-700 deg. C. It is concluded, that ageing of 47XHM hardened alloy at temperature 500 deg. C for 5-10 h does not lead to the over-saturated solid solution decay. At aging temperature increase up to 600 deg. C decay features begin to occurring in α-phase particles of homogenous type. After aging at 700 deg. C of hardened samples the broken decay with incoherent α-phase release on chromium base, at that it volume ratio is increasing up to ageing time and achieving the maximum values during 5-10 h of aging. AbstractAbstract
[en] Aim of the work is study both 40KhNiYu alloy structure-phase changes and it properties at thermal-mechanical and radiation processing, development of advanced schemes for the alloy treatment. Research of structure decay types forming under hardening, rolling, annealing, high-temperature tension at super-plasticity conditions and radiation irradiation is carried out by radiography, optic and electron microscopy methods. Relation of parameters of it microstructure with mechanical properties after these treatments is determined. Optimal mechanical properties are observing after annealing at 600 deg. C (5 h). Strengthening is caused by γ'-phase particles separation within the 500-800 deg. C range. The α-phase is escaping higher 800 deg. C. It is shown, that for parts which should have high hardness one can to apply repeated hardening and ageing. At the same time the effective hardening of the 40KhNiYu alloy is explaining by noncontinuous separation of sells both α- phase in γ'-matrix. With purpose of 40KhNiYu alloy surface modification the effect on the structure from pulse electron irradiation have been studied

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the current work results of experimental studies of steel OCr18Ni10Ti structure change exposed to irradiation by middle-energy ions are presented. Steel samples with size 10x10x0.1 mm3 were polished mechanically and electrolytically. Samples were exposed to stabilizing annealing in vacuum at 1000 deg. C for 1 h with following slow cooling up to room temperature. Samples were irradiated at DIANA accelerator by Ar+ ions with energy 60 keV, with fluence 1021 ion·m-2 at 200 deg. C. By X-ray structural examination it is determined, that in ion irradiation process in all samples considerable structural-phase changes are taking place. On the base of experimental results it is concluded, that radiation damages after ion irradiation are distributing on depths too much exceeding ion tracks in the material. In result of ion radiation the concentration exfoliation of matrix solid solution with micro-fields forming with different content of doping elements is occurring
