AbstractAbstract
[en] The internal contamination (inhalation, ingestion or wound) with radionuclide in radioactive accident would introduce a serious health risk to human beings meanwhile exterior irradiation occurs. To reduce the harm of the internal contamination, it should be done with effective chelation therapy or decorporation to reduce deposition in target organs and accelerate excretion of the radio-nuclides. This paper reviews all kinds of compounds used as chelating agents, such as salt, colloid, traditional Chinese medicine and organic chelating agent, etc., which may provide some ideas for the development of a new effective nuclide decorporation. AbstractAbstract
[en] Porphyrin derivatives can be taken up by tumor cells and accumulated there for a long time. Since 1960's, radioactive isotope-labeled porphyrins have been under extensive researches around the world. The progress of labeled porphyrins with various radioactive isotopes includes 3H, 11C, 123I, 131I, 99mTc, 188Re, 117,113mSn, 153Sm, 109Pd, 111In, 57Co, 58Co, 65Zn, 64,67Cu, 90Y, 166Ho is reviewed here. Among them, we studied the labeling conditions, chemical and biochemical properties of 188Re-labeled, 117,113mSn-labeled and 153Sm-labeled T3,4CPP and TPPS4. We also studied the bio-distribution of 188Re-labeled T3,4CPP and TPPS4 in mice with transplanted liver tumor and melanoma. Other researches in porphyrins which could affect the research of radioisotope-labeled porphyrins are introduced in the end. This review could provide a reference for design of better radioisotope-labeled porphyrins. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Crown peptide is a kind of special conformation, in the structure of which there is regular array about the main chain containing imido groups, and presents coronary analogy to crown ether. There is high symmetrical ionophore which belong to C_n point group. The channels or apertures can form more easily in order to recognize certain ion or molecular, and also the function of intending dual-recognition and the ability for transporting as ionophores can be achieved. AbstractAbstract
[en] Peptide nucleic acid (PNA), which is one kind of antisense nucleic acid compounds and an oligonucleotide analogue that binds strongly to DNA and RNA in a sequence specific manner, has its unique advantages in the field of molecular diagnostics and treatment of diseases. Now, people gradually attach more importance to PNA. To optimize the application of PNA in genetic re- search and therapy, a great number of backbone modifications on the newly- type structures of PNA were synthesized to improve its physicochemical proper- ties, such as hybridization speciality, solubility in biofluid, or cell permeability. The modified PNA labeled with radionuclides, which can obtain the aim at specific target and minimal non-target trauma, has important role in research and application of tumorous genitherapy. Here a review on the basic synthesis idea and several primary synthetic methods of PNA analogs was given, and also correlative studies and expectation on the compounds belonging to PNA series labeled with radionuclides were included. AbstractAbstract
[en] Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) applies the high linear energy transfer radiation of α particles and 7Li ions released from the 10B(n,α)7Li reaction in pre-localized boron-containing compounds in tumor tissue. Apparently, there are two prime aspects in BNCT, i.e.the outer neutron flux and boron-containing compound. Boron porphyrins is an important 10B-carrier for BNCT under wide research since 1990's. This paper begins with the characteristics of BNCT, required properties of 10B-carrier and property of porphyrins, then focuses on the application researches of boron porphyrins from main research institutions in the field in the past two decades. This provides a useful reference for further design of better boron porphyrins. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Adsorption of atomic carbon on δ-Pu (111) surface is investigated systematically using density functional theory with RPBE functional. The adsorption energies, adsorption structures, Mulliken population, work functions, layer and projected density of states are calculated in wide ranges of coverage, which have never been studied before as far as we know. It is found that the hcp-hollow sites is the energetically favorable site for all the coverage range considered. The repulsive interaction is identified, and the adsorption energy decreases with the coverage, while work function increases linearly with the coverage. It is found that the C-Pu interaction is very strong due to the hybridization between the C 2p states and the Pu 5f, Pu 6p, Pu 6d states of topmost layer Plutonium atoms. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper, we introduce a novel 60Co-ray-irradiation-based one-step synthesis method of Pt-reduced graphene oxide composites (Pt-RGO) in acid aqueous solution. The compositional distribution of the particles in the samples was characterized by transmission electron microscopy. The structure and composition of the nanocomposite has been determined with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersion X-ray (EDS) analyzer. Surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) of graphene deposited by the Pt nanoparticles were investigated with the 514.5 nm excitation. It was found that small-sized and highly-dispersed Pt nanoparticles could easily grow on the RGO surface under acidic conditions. In addition, the obtained homogeneous dispersions exhibit long-term stability, which will facilitate the production of homogeneous composites. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Peptide nucleic acid can be used in the field of tumor gene therapy with minimal non-target damage if it binds to gene with high sequence specificity and selectivity when labeled with radionuclides. In this paper, 99mTc (O) (PNA-dp) was synthesized, and the characteristics of DNA-cleavage were studied. It shows that the radiochemical purity remains over 90% after 6 h storage at room temperature, and the complex can be injected directly. Besides, the obvious DNA cleavage effect can be found after 1 h, and the mechanism of which maybe the cooperation of PNA-dp and the radiation of 99mTc. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Several representative bifunctional chelating agents (BFCA) molecules which can coordinate with [Re(CO)_3 (H_2O)_3 ]"+ were synthesized. On the NCA level, the ligands allow labelling yields > 95% with ["1"8"8Re(CO)_3 (H_2O)_3 ]"+ under mild reaction conditions. Incubation of the corresponding 188 Re complexes in PBS buffer and human serum at 37 ℃ reveals good stabilities. Decomposition product is main "1"8"8ReO_4"-. The routine kit-preparation of the precursor ["1"8"8Re(CO)_3 (H_2O)_3 ]"+ in combination with tailor-made ligand systems enables the organometallic labelling of biomolecules with unprecedented high specific activities. AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To analyze the CT perfusion characteristics and hemodynamic changes of type n autoimmune pancreatitis. Methods: Whole organ low-dose CT perfusion characteristics and hemodynamic changes of type n autoimmune pancreatitis (7 patients) were compared to that of normal pancreas (11) and pancreatic carcinoma (8). Results: Of 7 patients with autoimmune pancreatitis, 5 were located in the head and 2 in the body and tail of the pancreas with pancreatic duct dilatation (5), extrahepatic bile duct dilatation (4), and ulcerative colitis (1). Time-density curve analysis showed diffusely reduced enhancement in autoimmune pancreatitis with significantly different perfusion parameters (P < 0.05) from that of pancreatic carcinoma. Conclusion: CT perfusion imaging allows quantitative evaluation of the hemodynamic changes for diagnosing type n autoimmune pancreatitis. (authors)
