AbstractAbstract
[en] This report examines opportunities created by energy transition for the French industry, and aims at identifying the most promising niches in order to help French enterprises to be competitive and thus to improve the French trade balance by five to ten years. The study focuses on three main sectors: equipment and installations of renewable energy production (ground-based and offshore grounded wind energy, floating wind energy, hydroelectric energy, solar photovoltaic, methanization), management of electric systems of any size (more particularly smart grids) and issue of energy storage in relationship with production source decentralisation, and building efficiency (energy renovation, heat pumps, active consumption steering and connected housing). A first part describes, for each of these sectors, the situation of the world market and the French situation in terms of market and actors (strengths and weaknesses), as well as objectives which could be envisaged to improve actor competitiveness. The second part discusses existing tools which could be means to reach these objectives: R and D financing tools, other financing types, sector dynamics. The third part proposes a set of measures and recommendations to develop the French offer in sustainable technologies, to ease a better demand structuring, and to steer demand towards a sustainable (and notably French) content

AbstractAbstract
[en] This study aimed at studying the different conceivable legal and financial options for the construction and exploitation of gas infrastructures foreseen in the French multi-year energy program for Corsica island in order to secure its energy supply. The study is based on interviews of various actors (experts and local actors) and on documents. After having recalled the scope of the study and its relationships with other current expertises, the authors analyse conceivable legal arrangements for the construction of a gas pipeline. They outline questions raised by the construction of such an infrastructure. They also assess additional burdens for the CSPE (contribution to the public service of electric power) due to this infrastructure

AbstractAbstract
[en] This study aimed at assessing the 'domestic project' arrangement which aims at the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions over the 2008-2012 period, and at elaborating propositions on possible follow-ups for domestic projects in France and in the European Union. Sixteen referenced methods and twenty certified projects have been assessed and compared in terms of actual reductions. In a first part, while commenting these assessments, the authors notice that reductions of greenhouse gas emissions have been lower than initial expectations. In a second part, they state that it is desirable to re-launch projects and project labelling through a renewed procedure. A set of propositions is then developed. Appendices notably propose examples which illustrate project delays, and give an overview of joint implementation in foreign countries

AbstractAbstract
[en] Whereas the return on experience from EDF nuclear plants revealed (already during the 70's) a risk of stress corrosion cracking for some nickel-based alloys in different components, and as this risk can put the integrity of components of main primary circuits into question again, this document reports the reviewing of the EDF file concerning this issue and therefore updating previous documents in order to take this issue into account. It indicates and comments elements and methods introduced in this update: international and national returns on experience, update of knowledge related to materials (cracking kinetics, case of the 690 alloy and associated alloying metals), evolution of the method of assessment of the risk of stress corrosion cracking, implementation of non destructive tests for several controls, and maintenance strategy for vessel bottom penetrations. ASN opinions, and opinions and recommendations of a group of experts about these different aspects are gathered in attached documents
