AbstractAbstract
[en] Within the temperature range of 4.2-60 k in magnetic fields up to 14 T temperature dependences of galvanomagnetic coefficients were measured in molybdenum single crystals with rho293.2k/rho4.2k ratio equal to 30000 at magnetic field orientation along three main crystallographic axes. It is shown that the temperature dependence of magnetoelastic conductivity includes exponential contribution from intersheet electron-phonon change-over. The mechanism of conduction electron scattering is the predominant one in formation of Hall coefficient temperature dependences. The latter are nonmonotonous and contain extremuma. Refs. 19, figs. 6

AbstractAbstract
[en] A rather complete data base on electronic properties of scandium is presented. Scandium electronic structure and Fermi surface are described. Available experimental results on transport (electric resistivity, magnetoresistance, Hall effect, thermo-emf), optical, magnetic and thermal (specific heat, thermal conductivity, thermal expansion) properties are given. The anisotropy of the properties considered is discussed on the basis of the data related to single crystals. Whenever possible, the experimental data on scandium properties are correlated to specific features of its electronic structure. The review includes the papers published by 1996

AbstractAbstract
[en] Single crystal tungsten specimens which were different in shape, size and crystallographic orientation of faces were used to study volt-ampere characteristics and field dependences of magnetoresistance at T=4.2 K in magnetic fields up to 15 T under static skin effect conditions. It was shown that previously revealed nonlinear features of stationary volt-ampere characteristics were related to strong effect of current skinning and occurred at near-surface current density of the order of 105 a·cm-2. Such current density might induce phonon generation and result in crystal heating up and nonlinearity initiation. In a nonlinear range oscillations of the signal measured were found as well as specimen temperature and temperature gradients

AbstractAbstract
[en] Anisotropy and field dependences of transverse magnetoresistance and Hall resistance of molybdenum monocrystals with ρ293,2k/ρ4,2K ∼ 3200 were measured in magnetic fields 0,8-15 Tl at T=4,2 K. Drastic statistic skin-effect where density of direct electric current at crystal surface more than by a factor of 102 exceeded current density in it's volume was shown to occur in molybdenum monocrystals in strong magnetic fields. Hall factor linearly increased with magnetic field ehnancement under static skin-effect. The process was similar to high-pure tungsten monocrystals

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the temperature range of 2-150K investigated is Hall coefficient Rsub(H)(T) in molybdenum monocrystals with the resistance ratio rhosub(273.2)/rhosub(4.2)=32000. It is stated that at T < 80K the Hall coefficient is anisotropic and non-monotonously dependent on the temperature: in the region of hydrogen temperatures observed are Rsub(H)(T) extremums sensitive to a magnetic field magnitude. The Rsub(H)(T) behaviour is explained by the effect of electron-phonon scattering anisotropy connected with the Fermi surface peculiarities of molybdenum. The comparison of Rsub(H)(T) temperature dependences of molybdenum and tungsten confirms the proposed interpretation

AbstractAbstract
[en] The electrical resistivity of high-purity tungsten single crystals are studied in the temperature range 2-40 K under size effect condition. In the low temperature limit and in an approximation, which takes into account the change of the electron-surface scattering probability at small grazing angles, the resistivity calculations have been made. It is shown that quadratic temperature contribution to the electrical resistivity of pure metal is associated mainly with an interference between electron-phonon and electron-surface scattering. A satisfactory agreement is observed between the theory and the experiment
