AbstractAbstract
[en] Thermodynamic characteristics of niobium iodides are studied with application of the complex of various experimental methods. The CVD-diagrams of the Nb-I-He ternary system are plotted on the basis of the data obtained. The area of conditions for niobium deposition from gaseous media is determined. [en] The generalized data about synthesis and some physicochemical properties of fluorinated β-diketonates of rare-earth elements and yttrium are presented. Chelate compounds of rare-earth elements such as thris-chelates, tetrakis-chelates and adducts with crown ethers are considered. Comparison-property correlation for some complexes are determined. From the data of complex thermal analysis discussion is carried on such characteristics as volatility and thermostability in the same conditions. [en] Specific heat of Nb3I8 in the range of 8.5-300.6 K has been measured in a vacuum adiabatic calorimeter. On the basis of experimental data the values of entropy, enthalpy and Gibbs reduced energy have been calculated. The thermodynamic values found at 298.15 K under standard conditions are: Cp0=280.5±0.34, S0=460.1±1.3; Φ0=252.5±1.8 J/(mol x K); H0(298.15)-H0(O)=61896±140 J/mol. 3 refs.; 2 tabs

[en] New volatile compounds 1,1,1-trifluoro-5,5-dimethylhexandione-2,4 and 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoropentandione-2,4 of barium and copper with additional ligands - 1,4,7,10,13-pentaoxacyclooctadecane and 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexaoxacyclooctadecane, as well as the corresponding β-diketonates of yttrium and copper, were prepared. It is ascertained that in contrast to β-diketonates of alkaline earth metals the adducts of barium and copper bischelates with macrocyclic polyethers are thermally stable, volatile and nonhydroscopic compounds. 11 refs., 3 figs., 4 tabs

[en] The enthalpy change values H Deg(T)-H Deg (298.15 K) of the crystal Nb3I8 are studied through the method of mixing calorimetry within the range of 358.4-1016.8 K. The isobar heat capacity of the compound is measured in addition to the earlier published values on heat capacity obtained for the interval of 8.5-300.6 K. Combined processing of all experimental results is carried out and smoothed values Cp Deg(T) for the crystal Nb3I8 are obtained within the interval of 8.5-1016.8 K. Standard values for the change of enthalpy, entropy and the Gibbs relative energy are calculated

В интервале 358.4-1016.8 К методом калориметрии смешения определены величины изменения энтальпии H Deg(T)-H Deg (298.15 K) ристаллического Nb3I8. Дополнительно к опубликованным ранее величинам теплоемкости, полученным для интервала 8.5-300.6 К, измерена изобарная теплоемкость соединения в интервале 81.5-332.7 К. Проведена совместная обработка всех экспериментальных результатов и получены сглаженные значения Cp Deg(T) для кристаллического Nb3I8 в интервале 8.5-1016.8 К. Рассчитаны стандартные значения изменения энтальпии, энтропии и приведенной энергии ГиббсаOriginal Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] Joint electron diffraction and mass-spectrometric study of vapour above NbOI3 was carried out. It is asceratined that molecules of NbOI3, NbI4 and I2 are present in the vapour and at the temperatures exceeding 620 K molecular form NbOI3 prevails. Electron diffraction patterns of vapour over NbOI3 were recording at temperature of 698 K, their decoding was realized making allowance for complex composition of the vapour. It is found that NbOI3 molecule has geometric configuration of C3v symmetry, which is described by the following parameters: rα(NbO) = 1.702(33) A, rα(Nb-I) = 2.640(6) A, angle I-Nb-I = 11.01(1.5) deg
