[en] Thermogravimetric, differential thermal analysis, Infrared spectroscopy, chemical analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, and physical properties were performed to characterize ninavite silica rocks. The results indicate that such rocks posses a high silica content, low bulk density and high porosity. As a results of such characterization, ninavite was considered of great industrial importance.
