AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that, as for a Nilsson + pairing model, the extended stability condition of the thermal Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (THFB) solution coincides with the one of the thermal RPA (TRPA) solution unless the pairing constant G is too large. As possible extensions of the TRPA equation in alternative ways describing thermal fluctuation effect, the extended TRPA (ETRPA) and the dissipative TRPA (DTRPA) are discussed. Furthermore, the general microscopic framework of the TRPA predicts the saturation and decrease of giant resonance width in high temperature limit, i.e. the fragmentation width Γf∝(kT)(-3(2)) and the spreading width Γ↓∝(kT)(-1(2))

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nature of nuclear excitation becomes more complicated with the increasing excitation energy. The statistical approach is adopted, and gives comprehensive description for the average behavior. This paper proposes an improved statistics by introducing the projection P in the grand partition function. The Hamiltonian H is the sum of single particle part and residual two body interaction, and related with the auxiliary Hamiltonian H', which can be replaced by the effective Hamiltonian. The generalized HFB transformation connects the single particle operators with the quasi particle operators. With the use of Bloch-de-Dominics theorem, the free energy F can be presented. The requirement that the variation of F should vanish gives the THFB equation and the constraints. The distribution function of positive or negative parity levels can be denoted. The density of state is defined as a function of the energy, the values of spin and parity, and the particle number. (Kato, T.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The thermal random phase approximation (TRPA) is applied to calculate the angular distribution coefficient of γ-rays, a2(Eγ), as well as the absorption cross section, σabs(Eγ), both for the ground band with small prolate deformation and for the superdeformed band in 132Ce. It is shown that the critical γ-ray energy where a2(Eγ) changes its sign is much lower for superdeformed band than for ground band. Thermal energy-weighted sum-rule gives an account for the decrease of the peak height of σabs(Eγ) with increasing temperature. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The cranked temperature-dependent(or thermal) Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov(THFB) theory is applied to investigate the properties of deformed nucleus along and off the yrast line. Phase transitions are indicated by the characteristic behaviour of various free energies and the drastic changes in the intrinsic structure. There occurs a new type of phase characterized by the ''bidirectional alignment of spins'' in the low spin and high energy region. (author)
