AbstractAbstract
[en] Cross sections of σi,i+m and σi,i-m electron loss and capture by boron ions and atoms were measured in H2, He, N2, Ne, Ar and Xe at V = 1.19 and 1.83 at.u. rates. The published experimental data on those cross sections within the rate range close to cross section maximum were analyzed. Electron loss cross sections were determined to be described by the formula taking account of peculiarities of both medium ion and atom. With increase of Zt medium atom nuclear charge the cross sections were changed nonmonotonically increasing in the average as Zt1/2. A formula describing dependence of σi,i-1 electron capture cross sections on the average bond energy of electron in i-1 charge ion is introduced for the process of electron capture by ions with low i charges. The total cross section of σi,i-1 electron capture is proportional to the number of vacancies in the nucleus nearest blank electron shell

Измерены сечения σi,i+m и σi,i-m потери и захвата электронов ионами и атомами бора в H2, He, N2, Ne, Ar и Xe при скоростях V = 1,19 и 1,83 ат.ед. Проведен анализ известных экспериментальных данных об этих сечениях в области скоростей вблизи максимума сечений. Установлено, что сечения потери электрона описываются формулой, в которой учитываются особенности как иона, так и атома среды. С увеличением ядерного заряда атомов среды Zt сечения изменяются немонотонно, возрастая в среднем как Zt1/2. Для процесса захвата электрона ионами с малыми зарядами i предложена формула, описывающая зависимость сечений σi,i-1 захвата электрона от средней энергии связи электрона в ионе с зарядом i-1. The following units of the Sokol facility: magnetic analyzers, ions vacuum guides, solid and gaseous targets, collusions chambers (recharging), measurements system are described

[en] The work is aimed at studying the fast multicharged ions interaction (MCI) with a solid matter and gas. The measurement and calculational methods are described. It is shown that the calculation of the MCI recharge on the basis of experimental measurements makes it possible to determine the basic parameters of the MCI braking. It is shown also that the obtained results make it possible to determine the target thickness dependence, whereby the ions distribution equilibrium by charge is established on the basic parameters of their interaction with targets. The directions of further studies are discussed

Работа посвящена изучению особенностей взаимодействия быстрых многозарядных ионов (МЗИ) с твердым веществом и газом. Описываются методы измерений и расчетов. Показано, что расчет сечений перезарядки МЗИ на основе экспериментальных измерений позволяет определить основные параметры торможения МЗИ. Показано также, что полученные результаты дают возможность установить зависимость толщины мишени, при которой устанавливается равновесие распределения ионов по зарядам от основных параметров их взаимодействия с мишенями. AbstractAbstract
[en] The new version of theoretical estimation of equilibrium charge distribution of ions passing through the matter is proposed. This estimation is based on the correction of charge exchange cross sections for gases taking into account the density effect. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data and with empirical estimation based on the averaging of experimental data for charge distributions of ions in gases and solids. The theoretical method describes the experimental oscillations of width of the charge distribution in contrast to the empirical method.
