AbstractAbstract
[en] Research has been made into the tendency to temper brittleness of complex-alloyed steels 20Kh3MVF, 25KhMF, 20Kh2N4MA, 38KhN3MFA within the temperature range of from 500 to 650 deg C. The steels 20Kh3MVF and 25KhMF exhibit the tendency to temper brittleness within the temperature range studied. The maximum embrittlement is observed at higher temperatures (620-650 deg C) as compared with the temperature of the nonreversible temper brittleness. This shift is explained by the presence in the composition of the steels, of a great proportion of elements forming special carbides whose coagulation occurs at a higher temperature. The steels of the grades 20Kh2N4MA and 38KhN3MFA have no tendency to temper brittleness

AbstractAbstract
[en] Kinetics of the austenite decomposition and mechanical properties of the metal of the heat affected zone are studied to determine optimal temperature of heating during the welding of billets made of the 18Kh2N4MA and 20Kh2M4MVFA martensitic steels with the thickness more than 100 mm. It is found out on the basis of investigation results of the austenite decomposition kinetics and mechanical properties of heat affected zone metal that the preliminary heating temperature during the welding of chromium-nickel-molybdenum-vanadium steel should not excess 100...150 deg C. The shielded arc welding using the consumable electrode along the narrow groove is expedient for such a steel

AbstractAbstract
[en] A possible atomic mechanism for amorphization-crystallization processes in ion-irradiated diamond-type semiconductors is proposed in the present work. This mechanism is based on the concept of a phase transition into a new state with the participation of point defects and can be considered as a basis for the kinetic description of amorphization-crystallization processes in semiconductors during irradiation.
