AbstractAbstract
[en] Interaction in the systems Ln2O3-Sb2O5(Ln=Nd-Lu,Y) has been studied in air; the solid solutions formed have been characterized. It has been established that all Ln2O3 and Y2O3 studied at 950 deg C form with antimony pentoxide solid solutions Lnsub(2-x)Sbsub(x)Osub(3+x) with disordered fluorite structure. All the phases are characterized by some homogeneity region which grows when passing from lighter Ln(for Nd 0.5 (<=)x(<=) 0.6) to heavier ( for Lu o.38 (<=)x(<=) 0.80). The lattice parameters ''a'' of monophase samples Lnsub(2-x)Sbsub(x)Osub(3+x) decrease with increasing x which agrees with a replacement of greater cation Ln with smaller Sb in the crystal structure. For the samples Lnsub(2-x)Sbsub(x)Osub(3+x) annealed at 1200 deg C destruction of fluorite-like structure is observed and the formation of ordered phases takes place when Ln=Nd; for the rest Ln and Y the character of the structure, lattice parameters, and x values are practically the same as for annealed at 950 deg C samples

AbstractAbstract
[en] The reduction of perrhenates of rare earth elements and of yttrium by hydrogen and the subsequent sintering have yielded cermets based on rhenium and rare earth element oxides inherent in which are more disperse and homogeneous structures than those of the ''molecular'' rare earth element-Tc cermets. The dispersity of cermets increases in the rare earth elements series from La to Lu. The microhardness of the Re phase in cermets is 490 kgf/mm2; the total microhardness of a cermet is substantially higher

AbstractAbstract
[en] Interaction in the systems MeCl3-K3TeO3-H2O(Me=Ga,In) has been studied at 25 deg C by the method of residual concentrations. It has been established that a ratio (n)K2TeO3:MeCl3 (>=) 1.5 in the system InCl3-K2TeO3-H2O the basic indium tellurites are formed which then transfer into neutral salts. These products are X-ray-amorphous compounds. At n (>=) 2 (pH > 9) complex tellurites of the composition KMe(TeO3)2xnH2O are formed in the systems under study. Complex indium and gallium tellurites are crystalline compounds; their roentgenometric data are given

AbstractAbstract
[en] A new ceramic material is suggested for fabricating thermocompensating high-frequency capacitors. It contains CaTiO3x, SrNb2O6 and NaNbO3. The new material is differentiated by the fact that, with the purpose of increasing the specific volume resistance at 155 deg C, it contains in addition LaAlO3 at the following ratio of components, wt. %: CaTiO3-30-65; SrNb2O6-23.8-45.5; NaNbO3-10.2-19.5; LaAlO3-1-5. the proposed material is shown to have high values of specific volume resistance (rhosub(v)) at 155 deg C

AbstractAbstract
[en] A study was made on Y1-xLnxBa2Cu3O7-σ (Ln-Ce, Pr, Tb) solid solutions in the range of x = 0.1-1.0. It is shown that superconducting phase forms at x = 0.1-0.33 (for Ge) and at x ≤ 0.17 (for Pr and Tb), if BaLnO3 is used as oxidizer. Synthesis conditions of BaCeO3, BaPrO3 ad BaTbO3 were determined, their lattice parameters were determined, magnetic susceptibility was investigated

AbstractAbstract
[en] Data on the composition, solubility, synthesis conditions, structure and thermal stability of rare earth iodates and periodates are generalized. It is shown, that the compounds have been insufficiently studied due to similar conditions of formation of phases with different composition and, consequently, due to the difficulties in preparation of monophase preparations. The iodates and periodates considered in their properties are closer to the corresponding tellurium compounds, than to chlorine- and rhenium ones
