[en] Within the framework of a nonlinear Schroedinger equation, it is shown that in the supercritical case (Dσ>2, where D is the dimensionality of the space, and σ is the degree of nonlinearity) a three-dimensional wave collapse may be distributed in time. It is proposed that energy dissiption in th wave cluster by the collapsing cavern occurs after a field singulrty has established itself at the center of the cluster
