[en] The article deals with divided of fugitive emissions by the place of origin, state of BAT for fugitive emissions and brief assessment of European norms Cen/TC 264 N 947, CEN/TC 264 N 946, in which states of Europe try to create united method of measurement of fugitive emissions. There is example of BAT for discharged, stored and manipulation by black and brown coal with reference document BREF. (author)

[en] Fugitive emission of wood dust can constitute serious menace to health of worker in wood industry. Present paper describes not only influence of unaccompanied wood which develops allergic reactions, respire diseases, dermatosis, cancer etc., but also additional effects of natural wood components as endotoxins, microbial spores, amoebas, fungus, animal and proteins, volatile components wood resins, respectively.
