AbstractAbstract
[en] Relative yields of α particles and protons have been measured in electronuclear and photonuclear reactions in the nuclei 58Ni, 56Fe, and 63Cu at electron energies 30.5 MeV. The cross sections for (e,α) and (e,p) reactions and the yields of (γ,α) and (γ,p) reactions have been measured in 27Al nuclei in the electron-energy range 16.5--30 MeV. As the result of analysis of the experimental data we have identified the components of the (γ,α) reactions due to electric dipole (E1) transitions and to isoscalar electric quadrupole (E20) transitions

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is observed that in electronuclear disintegration of 7Li into a triton (T and 4He at excitation energies E/sub γ/approx. <20 MeV a reaction component appears in which in addition to the two particles T(E/sub T/approx. <6 MeV) and 4He a third particle is emitted which can be a photo with energy E/sub γ//sub '/≅8 MeV; the cross section of the possible reaction 7Li(e,T)4He,γ' is comparable with the cross section of the ordinary reaction 7Li(e,T)4He of disintegration of 7Li into two particles T and 4He

AbstractAbstract
[en] Cross sections have been measured for the reactions /sup 58,60/Ni(e,e'p) and /sup 58,60/Ni(e,e'α) in the electron-energy range 12--35 MeV. For analysis of the experimental results we used virtual photon spectra calculated in the DWBA. At energies Eγ = 16.0 +- 1.0 MeV for 58Ni and E/sub γ/ = 15.6 +- 1.0 MeV for 60Ni we have observed giant electric-quadrupole resonances which decay mainly by α-particle emission. The integrated cross sections for the reactions 58Ni(γ,α) and 60Ni(γ,α) due to E2 transitions are respectively 5.4 +- 1.4 and 6.0 +- 3.0 mbxMeV, which amounts to 47 +- 12% of the total strength of isoscalar E2 transitions for 58Ni and 56 +- 28% for 60Ni. The integrated cross sections for these same reactions due to E1 transitions are 15.9 +- 2.3 and 16.9 +- 4.8 mbxMeV, which amount to 1.7 +- 0.3% of the value given by the sum rule for electric-dipole transitions for 58Ni and 1.8 +- 0.5% for 60Ni. The measured integrated cross sections for the reactions /sup 58,60/Ni(γ,p) are 539 +- 33 and 300 +- 20 mbx MeV

[en] This document gathers the summaries of the presentations made at ICIS05 (international conference on ion sources). It can be organized into 3 main topics: 1) 'fundamentals and theory' that deals with plasma, beam extraction, transport and emittance, diagnostics and simulation; 2) 'various types of ion sources' that include ECRIS, EBIS, microwave, negative, radioactive, polarized and laser ion sources, and charge breeders; and 3) 'ion sources and applications' in fields like accelerator injection, fusion energy, space propulsion, mass spectrometry, and neutron and cluster and rare nuclide production
