[en] The design and fabrication of a simplified flash x-ray system, in which it is easy to change the anodes and to vary the anode to cathode distance, are described. AbstractAbstract
[en] Models derived for the efficiency of film and screen/film combinations used in X- and gamma-radiography, describe the events occurring from the incidence of the photon on the screen or film up to its recording. Relations are established between the efficiency and common terms used in radiography such as: film density, gradient, contrast, inertia, photon fluence and speed. The efficiency is determined as a demonstration for common films and CaWO4 in the energy range up to 2 MeV. Comparisons with experimental data are included. (author)
