AbstractAbstract
[en] In order to solve these problems such as high cost by conventional agitation leaching, low permeability and low leaching rate by heap leach, a percolation leaching method was developed. Two-year's production results show that leaching rate of uranium is up to 90% by this method. Compared with conventional agitation leaching, the power, sulfuric acid and lime consumption by the percolation leaching decreased by 60%, 27% and 77% respectively. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Since water-isolated slurry pump was adopted by Fuzhou Jin'an Uranium Co., Ltd., CNNC, problems in tailings slurry transportation have been solved effectively. The productivity was raised, and production cost was lowered. The basic compositions and operating principle of water-isolated slurry pump are introduced. Compared with oil-isolated slurry pump, the water-isolated slurry pump has advantages of large transportation volume, low cost, easy maintenance, good work environment, etc. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] As a new production technique of yellow cake, resorption with loaded resin-elution with acid ammonium nitrate-precipitation in two steps is studied. The results show that the produced yellow cake by the new production technique has better performance of settlement, filtration and dehydration. Each index of yellow cake accords with the first grade level issued by CNNC without washing, uranium and water content are 70% and 25%, respectively

AbstractAbstract
[en] Inertia cone crusher is a high-efficiency, super-fine crushing equipment with the unique principle and structure. It features high reduction ratio and low power consumption. The final product size can be within the narrow scope. The inertia cone crusher is suitable for crushing uranium ores. The application of the crusher in Fuzhou Uranium Mine is summarized. The result has shown that the inertia cone crusher has good application prospects in percolation leaching circuit of uranium ore. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Leaching uranium and molybdenum from low-grade refractory uranium-molybdenum ore which was processed by calcified roasting technology has been studied. The effects of particle size of ore, roasting additive, roasting temperature, roasting time were examined. The results show that by application of sulfuric acid as leaching agent, uranium and molybdenum leaching rate can reach 62.5% and 79.2% respectively under the conditions of particle size of -100 mesh, roasting temperature of 750 roasting time of 2 hours, using 4% CaC03 as additive in the roasting process. AbstractAbstract
[en] Study results of treatment of acidic technology effluent of one uranium mine are described. Lime cream neutralization-addition of removing fluorin ion reagent and barium chloride solution-sludge recycle technology is adopted in the treatment process, which is an effective technology to remove the nuclides U, Th, Ra as well as harmful element F and Mn. After the treatment the effluent is met the discharge standards. The process is easy in operation and saves lime cream reagent. And the produce of the sludge has fast precipitation speed with low water content. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Agitation leaching and intensified column leaching tests were carried out for extracting uranium from a refractory uranium ore. An intensified heap leaching process was developed, that is, a process of spraying sulfuric acid with large flow in the early and mid stage of leaching-curing with high concentration sulfuric acid in the final stage of leaching. This process has been verified by industrial heap leaching test. The results show that when the particle size of ores was less than 5 mm, sulfuric acid consumption by the intensified heap leaching process reduced to 18%-19% from 25% by agitation leaching, and uranium content reduced to 0.012%.
