AbstractAbstract
[en] The spectrum of xenon injected into the TFR tokamak plasma has been recorded in the range 10-90 A by means of a 2m grazing incidence spectrograph. Forty-four lines and unresolved transition arrays pertaining to multicharged xenon ions isoelectronic with Cu I, Ni I, Co I, Fe I, Mn I and Cr I have been identified by means of various theoretical methods. The 17 observed lines of the 3p63d8 - 3p53d9 transition array, have allowed the wavelengths of the magnetic dipole transitions occuring within the ground configuration 3d8 of Xe XXXIX to be predicted

AbstractAbstract
[en] Strontium, zirconium and rhodium have been injected into TFR tokamak plasmas by using the laser blow-off technique, and their spectra recorded either photographically (Zr, 10-92 A) or photoelectrically (all three elements, 10-330 A). Line identifications for several isoelectronic sequences from sodium -like to gallium- like are reported. Additionally, isoelectronic regularities observed for these three elements have allowed to identify a few krypton lines left unidentified in our previous work

AbstractAbstract
[en] The emission spectrum of krypton (injected into TFR tokamak plasmas) has been recorded photographically in the 15-300 A spectral range by means of a 2m grazing incidence spectrograph. Preliminary identification work, based on isoelectronic regularities from known spectra of other ions and ionization equilibrium calculations, has allowed 48 lines (belonging to the O I, F I, Na I, Mg I, Al I, Ar I and K I sequences) to be identified

AbstractAbstract
[en] Wavelengths for 261 lines of four-times-ionized uranium between 443 A and 2325 A are reported. They are classified by 74 energy levels, most of which are attributed to the 6p65f2, 6p65f6d, 6p65f7s, 6p66d2, 6p65f7p and 6p55f3 configurations. Energy parameters are derived for the two-electron configurations. (Auth.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The odd energy levels of Hf II, Ta II and W II have been investigated by means of the Slater-Condon parametric method. This led us to elimination of fortuitous levels reported in earlier analyses, to revision of J-values and the finding of 23 new levels in Ta II. The configuration mixing is very strong in the groups 5dN-16s6p + 5dN-26s6p + 5dN-36s26p, the latter configuration being generally unrecognizable. Very few low odd levels are still unknown in these spectra. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Ninety-seven odd levels of Eu I belonging to the sub-configurations 4f7(8S)6s2, 4f7(8S)5d6s, 4f7(8S)6s6d, 4f7(8S)5d2 et 4f7(8S)6p2 have been interpreted by means of the Slater-Condon parametric theory by taking into account configuration mixing and the effect of upper terms arising from 4f76P. The r.m.s. deviation is 58 cm-1 and 13 levels which have been found in an analysis of infrared emission spectra are reported for the first time. The energy level structure of the core 4f7 has been derived from a parametric study of the ground configuration of Eu III. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The resonance lines of neon-like ions and their long-wavelength satellites emitted by ions of lower charge are interpreted by means of the relativistic parametric potential method. The transition arrays between sub-configurations with the same angular momentum of the 2p5 core and two or three n=3 electrons added are predicted ab initio in the UTA formalism and fit the experimental data from barium to praseodymium. A spectrum of laser-irradiated silver recorded by Gauthier, Geindre and Monier at GRECO-ILM facilities is shown with detailed identification of Ag XXXVIII and Ag XXXVII transitions from 3.2 to 4.2 Angstrom. The electric-quadrupole transitions 2s-3d in the neon sequence and 3p-4f in the nickel sequence have been observed in laser-produced plasmas and open the way to new diagnostics

AbstractAbstract
[en] The predictions of 4s-4p and 4p-4d transitions derived from Slater-Condon type calculations of 3d94s, -4p and -4d configurations in the sequence Zn III-Se VII have been recently confirmed experimentally through Mo XV. These new data are used here to refine the predictions in the sequence Mo XV-Sn XXIII. The radial parameters involved in the three configurations are determined in generalized least-squares fits using all known levels in the sequence. (orig.)
