AbstractAbstract
[en] The radionuclide 54V was produced by the fast neutron (n, p) reaction on a 50 mg sample of 90% isotopically enriched 54Cr. The 14.6 MeV neutrons, the yield of which was 1.5 ∼ 2.0 x 109 neutrons/s, were generated through the T(d, n) reaction using the 200 kV Cockcroft-Walton accelerator. The average half life of 54V is 46.4 +- 0.6 sec. Two new γ-rays with energies of about 4.56 and 5.0 MeV were discovered

AbstractAbstract
[en] Neutron activation technique is used to measure the formation cross sections on even-even target nuclei with 14.6 MeV (n, 2n) reactions. The absolute values are calculated by using an integrated pre-equilibrium statistical model. The result gives a general good fit to the experimental data and shows the existence of shell effect on the cross sections. Problems related to the effect are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] Calculation of (n,2n) and (n,3n) excitation functions for 13 nonfissionable heavy nuclides of A>169, of which the compound-nucleus decay is without branching ratio, has been made based on the experimental values of σ(n,2n) for 14MeV fast neutron using the compound-nucleus model. The results have been compared with the experimental excitation functions. The reliability and the reasonableness of the computation are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The work is devoted to the measurement of isomeric cross section ratio in 45Sc (n,2n) 44g+mSc induced by 14.6 MeV neutron with the activation method. Considering the statistical model with preequilitrium mechanism, the isomeric cross section ratio of the nuclei have been computed with EPRIR programm, compiled by authors. By comparison of the experimental results with the theory, the spin cut-off parameter and the contribution of preequilibrium mechanism have been determined

AbstractAbstract
[en] Micro gap chamber (MGC) is a new type of Two-Dimensional position sensitive detector having excellent properties on the space and time resolution, counting rate, 2D compact structure and the flexible of application. It will become a candidate of a new tracking detector for high energy physics experiment. The basic structure and properties of MGC as well as its main research subjects are presented in this paper. Furthermore, the feasibility and validity of utilizing diamond films as the MGC gap material were also discussed in detail. So, a potential radiography imaging detector is provided in order to realize X image and X ray diffraction experiment having very good spatial and time resolution in the 3rd Generation of Synchrotron Radiation Facility.
