AbstractAbstract
[en] The radioactive radial uniformity of "6"8Ge line radioactive sources is a critical quality parameter. The radioactive source scanner with linear scanning function is developed by making use of high-speed pulse counters, high-speed pulse output ports, and the powerful instruction system of Siemens S7-200 series programmable logic controller (PLC). A computer used as a host computer of the instrument communicate with. the PLC by point to point interface (PPI) protocol, The instrument with functions of data collection, transmission, displaying, saving, motion control and instrument parameter settings, can be used to measure the radioactive radial uniformity and total activity of line radioactive source. The advantages of Using the PLC to develop nuclear instrumentation are development speed, strong anti-interference ability, and low-cost. This paper mainly describes the control system implementation and feature of the instrument. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] γ-ray CT column-scan technique is researched and developed for the scanning of the large equipment in petrochemical industry such as packed column. By this scanning, it can get images about the section density of the column. First, we analyze the theory of CT image reconstruction algorithm and put forward the methods by using back-projection to obtain the image. By simulation projection and simulation tomography in software of Matlab, we can get the simulation experiment parameter about frequency required and scanning mode. Then, under the laboratory condition, scanning the simulation packed tower contained different density region, we can get the section images. So we finished the laboratory experiments. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using chromatography for extracting medical isotope 99Tcm from 99Mo is a potential way to deal with the current fission-based 99Mo supply crisis. The process and properties of activated carbon fiber separating 99Tcm from mother nuclide 99Mo were studied by static and dynamic adsorption experiments. The results show that activated carbon fiber can selectively adsorb pertechnetate ions in 3 mol/L NaOH solution. The equilibrium time is about 500 s, and the adsorption, with 32.47 mg/g of saturated adsorption capacity, follows the pseudo 2nd order kinetic model. In the dynamic adsorption elution experiment, the breakthrough volume of 1.0 g activated carbon fiber chromatographic column is 70 mL, and pertechnetate is effectively eluted from activated carbon fiber chromatographic column in 40 mL water. The research results show that chromatographic column of activated carbon fiber can be used for separation of technetium from molybdenum without organic solvent. The yield of technetium is 98%, and residual concentration of molybdenum is 3.5 mg/L in eluates. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Solid extraction reagent is the key of separating medical isotope 99Tcm from low specific activity 99Mo solution using chromatography. The static adsorption and dynamic adsorption-elution experiments have been conducted to study the process and performance of polyamide resin separation 99Tcm from its mother nuclide 99Mo. The results show that : polyamide resin can selectively adsorb pertechnetate ions in 10 s, and with 3.85 mg/g saturated adsorption capacity in 3 mol/L NaOH solution. The breakthrough volume of 2.0 g polyamide chromatographic column is about 70 mL, and permolybdate ion remaining on column can be washed by 25 mL 3 mol/L NaOH solution. At last 20 mL water can be used for eluting technetium adsorbed on the polyamide chromatographic column. The research shows that: a novel solid extraction reagent for separation molybdenum and technetium has been developed for automatic 99Mo/99Tcm generator. The yield of separation technetium is 98%, and residual concentration of molybdenum is 0.6 mg/L in eluate. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The "9"9Tc"m(CO)_3-BPHRGD was prepared, and in-vivo biological evaluations in nude mice bearing M21 human melanoma tumor were completed. The labeling yield of "9"9Tc"m(CO)_3-BPHRGD is more than 80% under optimal conditions (pH = 7, reacting at 75 ℃ for 30 min), and the radiochemical purity is more than 98% after purification. The in-vitro stability experiments show that the radiolabeled compound has good stability in normal saline and human serum under 37 ℃. The biodistribution of "9"9Tc"m(CO)_3-BPHRGD in nude mice bearing M21 human melanoma tumor shows that the ratio of tumor/blood is 0.70 ± 0.45, 0.87 ± 0.05, 1.10 ± 0.19 and 1.68 ± 0.04 at 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 h respectively. The ratio of T/NT increases with time. This indicates that the clearance rate of this radiolabelled compound in tumor is slower than in other tissues. Through the further structural modification to change metabolic pathways and pharmacokinetic properties, it is very promising as a new tumor imaging agent. (authors)
