AbstractAbstract
[en] The Thermally Stimulated Current (TSC) spectra of biaxial stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) electret were measured, which had been irradiated by γ rays at dose rate 1x104Gy/h. The space charge peak's value and peak temperature are dramatically decreased with doses below 1x103 Gy and then tend to a certain value respectively. The mechanism of decreasing the trap depth has been investigated by means of the comparing with TSC spectra of amorphous PET electret. It has been confirmed that the main species of charge carriers of amorphous PET are the holes

AbstractAbstract
[en] Titanium aluminides (Ti3Al and TiAl) have received considerable attention as potential low density, high strength and creep resistant materials for high-temperature applications. For years, significant progress in improving the ambient temperature properties have been made, but the application temperature of these alloys is limited to less than 1,000 C for their relatively low high-temperature strength and poor oxidation resistance. Additions of niobium are known to increase the liquidus temperature and improve the properties of TiAl alloys. The needs for improving the limiting temperature of high-temperature structural materials are widespread. With a view to possible development of advanced intermetallic alloy for use above 1,000 C, a systematic study has been performed in the authors research group on the phase diagram, crystallographic structures, and oxidation and mechanical behavior of Ti-Al-Nb ternary alloys. The present paper is primarily concerned with the development of new Ti-Al-Nb intermetallic alloys based on their fundamental studies, which will be briefly reviewed here

AbstractAbstract
[en] The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) accelerator mainly consists of a linear accelerator, a 1.6 GeV rapid cycling synchrotron (RCS), a low energy transport line and a high energy transport line. A rotating coil measurement system was developed for the DC magnets of the CSNS accelerator. This system solves the compatibility problems of different center heights, masses, effective lengths, and magnetic field strengths among CSNS bulk magnets. After testing, the repeatability error of the integral field measurement is less than ± 0.02%, the repeatability error of harmonics is less than 0.005%, the repeatability error of the magnetic center measurement is less than ± 0.03 mm. It has successfully completed the task of detecting 150 magnets of the China Spallation Neutron Source. In this paper, the development plan, function, accuracy, types of measured magnets and some measurement results are introduced. (authors)
