AbstractAbstract
[en] With the advent of of new research in the A-100 neutron-rich region "["1"], we have studied the Sr, Zr axial symmetric isotopes by applying projected shell model "["2"] approach in this paper. The energy bands of neutron-rich nuclei "9"8"-"1"0"2Sr, "1"0"0"-"1"0"4Zr have been calculated, which have a good agreement with the experiment data. With the analysis on band-crossing phenomenon between ground-state band and quasi-particle rotational bands, the contribution to produce yrast band, the relation between kinematic moment of inertia and the square of the rotational frequency "["3"], we have obtained a lot of significant results as follows. First, the deformation of Sr, Zr nuclei in the low spin region depends entirely on the nature of the ground state band which in turn depends on O-qp intrinsic state. In other words, the physical mechanism about deformation is mostly contained in the O-qp intrinsic state. Second, with the spin increasing, the neutron pairs and proton pairs in the high-j intruder states near Fermi-level will break down. Then, the ground-state band will be crossed by the quasi-particle rotational bands. Accordingly, the kinematic moment of inertia will change to some extent. Meanwhile, through analyzing the intrinsic structure of positive and negative parity side bands, we found that the low-excitation deformation bands are attributed to the high-j intruder states 1g7/2 and 1h11/2 in the N = 4,5 harmonic-oscillator shells. In particular, with the discussion of quasi-particle rotational bands, it is clear that the quasi-particles in the orbit 5/2-[532]3/2 + [111] and 3/2 + [413] play an important role in the deformation of neutron-rich Sr, Zr axially symmetric nucleus. In addition, the occurrence of low energy and high-K bands can provide some references for us to study the nuclear isomer. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Collective phenomenon in magnesium isotopes is an interesting topic. In order to optimize the description of magnesium isotopes located around the 'island of inversion', we use an isospin-dependent Nilsson potential to define the deformed basis for our projected shell model calculations. Single particle energies in nuclei around 'island of inversion' are calculated and discussed, so as to clarify the effect of isospin-dependence. The low-lying spectra are further investigated, which reflect a clear behavior of quadrupole collectivity in the neutron-rich magnesium isotopes. Electric quadrupole transition properties are also studied. Configuration mixing mechanism of projected shell model has an important influence on these transition properties. From this analysis, we also learn the signal of rotational behavior. Gyromagnetic factors of magnesium isotopes are also calculated. Different contributions from neutron configurations and proton configurations are given separately. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] By using Total Routhian Surface (TRS) method the deformation of the nucleus 160Yb is studied. The result shows that the triaxial superdeformed state exists with deformation parameters element of 2 = 0.38 and γ = 210, where proton shell correction energy plays a key role, and the sum of two quasi-proton particle energies gives an additional driving effect. The rotational energy also has an additional role in the formation of triaxial superdeformed. (nuclear physics)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The properties of the high spin states of the neutron-rich 98-102Sr and 100-104Zr isotopes have been studied using the projected shell model. In particular, the upbending phenomenon is investigated for these isotopes along the yrast line. The results show that the occurrence of upbending phenomenon is attributed to the band crossing between ground state band and 2-qp neutron band having configuration 2νh11/2[- 3/2, 5/2], K = 1. Furthermore, the neutron two-quasi-particle structure of side bands in 98Sr and 102Zr is discussed in this paper. (nuclear physics)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nuclear shapes and shape coexistence of "1"8"7","1"8"9Tl were investigated theoretically in this work. The total Routhian surface (TRS) calculations were performed for N = 106 and 108 isotopes of thallium (Z = 81). The single-particle energies were obtained from the deformed Woods-Saxon potential, with the Lipkin-Nogami (LN) treatment of pairing. It is found that the collective oblate rotation coexists with the high-K prolate rotation. Superdeformed prolate rotation is included in this calculation. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The microscopic mechanism of the identical bands in odd-odd nucleus 194Tl and its neighbor odd-A nucleus 193Tl are investigated using the particle-number conserving (PNC) method with monopole and quadrupole pairing interaction. It is found that the blocking effect plays an important role in the variation in moments of inertia (J(1) and J(2) ) with rotational frequency for the SD bands and identical bands. And the angular momentum alignment i(ω) of the six SD bands in 194Tl relative to the 193Tl(1) also is discussed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Theoretical and experimental results of intense beam confinement by conducting meshes in a relativistic klystron amplifier (RKA) are presented. Electron motions in a steady intense electron beam confined by conducting meshes are analyzed with an approximate space charge field distribution. And the conditions for steady beam transportation are discussed. Experimental results of a long distance (60 cm) transportation of an intense beam (400 kV, 2.5 kA) generated by a linear induction accelerator are presented. Experimental results of modulated beam transportation confined by the mesh array are presented also. The results show that the focusing ability of the conducting meshes is not very sensitive to the beam energy. And the meshes can be used effectively in a RKA to replace the magnetic field system
