[en] Change of absorption coefficient under the effect of electric field and coefficient of thermal expansion of β-TlInS2 were measured. It is shown that excessive Tl+ and In3+ cations in prepared β-TlInS2 monocrystals can be considered as localized point defects. Increase of defect concentration in crystals leads to the shift of phase transformation temperature

[en] The character of interaction in TlGaS2-Nd2S3 and TlGaSe2-Nd2Se3 pseudobinary systems is studied and phase diagrams are plotted. The presence of solubility - up to 0.3 mol.% of Nd2S3 in TlGaS2 and 0.7 mol.% of N2S3 in TlGaSe2 at 300 K is revealed. By the Bridgman method monocrystals of solid solutions of the above systems are grown. Preliminary investigations of optical, photoelectric and luminescent monocrystal properties are carried out
