AbstractAbstract
[en] The simulation test and investigation for the samples of weldment were per- formed under high temperature sodium vapor at 400 degree C for 3 000 h. The samples were welded by 08X16H11M3 austenitic stainless steel produced in Russia and 304 austenitic stainless steel produced in China. The measurement and analysis of the corrosion rate, corrosion products, surface micro-morphologies, the composition at grain-boundary were performed for the samples pre- and post- tests, and the results show that there are no inter-granular corrosion which can be observed at the surface contacted with sodium vapor. There are obvious elements diffusion at the surface of 304 stainless steel matrix, but it has no visible influence on the structure of matrix and mechanical properties of the material. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Zr and stainless steel (S.S.) were selected respectively as the cladding materials of W target. The e-beam weld was used to prepare the W-Zr and W-S.S. small samples for hot iso-static press (HIP) process. The technology parameters of HIP were investigated at 1200, 1300, 1400 degree C and 180 MPa, respectively. The micro-morphology of the interface, diffusion depths and composition as well as their micro-hardness were observed and determined. The bonding of W-Zr and W-S.S. is very well under the testing conditions. There is no any pore or micro-crack in the interface, and there is no grain growth of W below 1400 degree C either. The diffusion of Zr to W at the interface of W-Zr is preferred during HIP process, and the diffusion depths under testing conditions are 6-13 μm. The diffusion of W and Fe is considerable at the interface of W-S.S. Its depth is about 13 μm, and the diffusion of Cr and Ni is mall. The hardness at the interface of W-Zr and W-S.S. shows that a diffusion layer is present for both interface. A part of stainless steel cladding was melted after HIP contained the oxygen absorber Zr at 1300 degree C and 180 MPa. Therefore, 1200 degree C and 180 MPa is suitable for W-S.S. without Zr, but 1300 or 1400 degree C and 180 MPa is better for W-Zr. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The corrosion of the 10 x 2M weldment made in Russia for outlet pipe of CEFR super-heater and the weldment of Russia 12 x 1M with domestic 304HS. S. for inlet pipe were investigated in 495 degree C thermal convection sodium for 2 800 hours, the oxygen concentration in sodium is 425 μg/g, and earbon is 26 μg/g. The measurement and analysis for corrosion rate, micro-corrosion morphologies, element contents at surface of the weldments, the mechanical properties and the morphologies of the rupture surface were performed after test. The results showed that the compatibility of the two weldments with high temperature sodium is good under these test conditions. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The investigation on the compatibility between China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) welded specimens with sodium was performed under simulative operation conditions of CEFR. The intergranular corrosion and the variation in mechanical properties were observed and determined after test in 450 degree C sodium for 3000 h. The average corrosion rate is less than 0.9 mg/(m2·h) and the intergranular corrosion is not observed at the welded specimen surface contacted with sodium. Comparing tensile behaviors of as-received specimens with that of corroded specimens, the difference on the yield strength (R0.2%) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS) as well as elongation percent (A%) are not considerable before and after of experiment. AbstractAbstract
[en] [Background] Calcium silicate products were used as thermal insulation for China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) cock, which might in contact with sodium vapor and liquid sodium. [Purpose]This study aims to investigate the compatibility of calcium silicate thermal insulation with sodium and sodium vapor. [Methods] First of all, gloves box purified by argon circulating and static testing facility of high temperature sodium were employed to build a test platform. The tests of the compatibility of calcium silicate insulation with high temperature sodium vapor and sodium at 250℃ for duration ranges from 3 min to 1500 h. After the test, some examinations include surface morphology analysis, cross section morphology analysis and thermal conductivity were performed. [Results] The results show that there is no fierce reaction occurred between calcium silicate insulation with sodium and sodium vapor. Varitions of color and appearance only appear on the surface of the samples, not inside the sample. During the fabrication process of the insulation post-test, the samples do not become brittle or soft. The thermal conductivity of the samples remains constant before and after the test, sodium and sodium vapor have no effect on the thermal insulation property of samples. [Conclusions] The calcium silicate has good resistance to sodium and sodium vapor corrosion. (authors)

[en] In some operating modes, the Lanzhou Heavy Ion cyclotron (HIRFL) need to modulate the beam in time, in order to avoid damaging beam transport line in intense beam. The modulator consist of two parallel electrode and relating to electronics circuits. To meet the modulated pulse edge requirement, the circuit design mainly consider the spreading of frequency band and low Q-factor. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Highlights: • Novel direct Z-scheme SnS_2/Ag_3PO_4 heterojunction photocatalysts are synthesized. • SnS_2/Ag_3PO_4 exhibits much higher photocatalytic activity than pure SnS_2 and Ag_3PO_4. • A possible photocatalytic mechanism was discussed in detail. - Abstract: Novel direct Z-scheme SnS_2/Ag_3PO_4 heterojunction photocatalysts were successfully fabricated with SnS_2 nanoplates hybridized by Ag_3PO_4 nanoparticals via a facile hydrothermal and precipitation method and applied for the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange in aqueous solution under visible light irradiation (λ > 420 nm). It was found that the photocatalytic performance of the SnS_2 (2.0 wt%)/Ag_3PO_4 heterojunction photocatalyst with 2.0 wt% SnS_2 content was much higher than that of individual SnS_2 and Ag_3PO_4. The enhanced photocatalytic activity could be ascribed to the efficient separation of photogenerated electrons and holes through the formation of direct Z-scheme system composed of SnS_2 and Ag_3PO_4. Furthermore, the recycling experiments revealed that the photocorrosion behavior of Ag_3PO_4 was strongly inhibited by SnS_2, it may be due to the photogenerated electrons of Ag_3PO_4 would be quickly combined with the photogenerated holes of SnS_2. This work will be useful for the design of other direct Z-scheme visible-light-driven photocatalytic systems for application in energy conversion and environmental remediation.
