AbstractAbstract
[en] The research on PET detector is a very active and highly innovative field. The main research interests of PET detector include improving performances of scintillation crystal detectors, investigating new detectors being suitable for multimodality imaging (e. g., PET/CT and PET/MRI), meeting needs of TOF and DOI technologies in order to promote their development and application. In this paper, new developments in PET detector technology about scintillation crystal, photodetector and semiconductor detector are introduced and the most potential detector design scheme in the future is brought forward. AbstractAbstract
[en] The software system of γ-camera adopts visualizing and interactive human-computer interface, collecting and displaying the data of patients in real time. Through a series of dealing with the collected data then it put out the medical record in Chinese. This system also can retrieve and backup the data of patients. Besides, it can assist the doctor to diagnose the illness by applying the clinical quantitative analysis function of the system. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] It introduces PeneloPET, a PET-dedicated Monte Carlo simulation toolkit, which based on PENELOPE, including the features of PeneloPET and the general process of PeneloPET simulation, then we validate PeneloPET to model the GE Healthcare eXplore Vista microPET system. The PeneloPET simulation results agree well with the data from real scanners and GATE simulation data. Therefore, it can be concluded that PeneloPET is an accurate tool for PET simulations. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A detection system for the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectrometer is described in detail. The plateau characteristic, absorption curves and linearity of the system are measured using X-rays with energy about 10 keV. An oscillation phenomenon near K-shell absorption edge of nickel sample is observed by this detection system. The results are more accurate than those obtained by a detection system which consists of a proportional counter used as the front detector and a NaI(Tl) scintillation counter used as the rear detector

[en] The design and initial operation of the Zhengzhou Air Shower Array is described. The array is composed of 8 scintillation counters, its detection area is about 30 x 30 m. An international standard CAMAC system is employed to control the experiment. The measurement of cosmic ray showers with size range from 4 x 104 to 8 x 106 is performed continuously and automatically

[en] The designing principle, the constitution of system and the implementation of multi-channel intelligence isotope thickness gauge are introduced in the paper in detail, which are based on multifunction card PCI-1710. The paper also discusses the primaryprinciple of isotope thickness gauge, correct factor in measurement and complication of calibration. In the following, the whole frame of multi-channel intelligence isotope thickness gauge is given. The functions, the characteristics and the usage of multifunction card PCI-1710 are described. Furthermore, the developing process and the function modules of software are presented. Finally, the real prototype of multi-channel intelligence isotope thickness gauge is introduced, using 241Am as a radioactive element. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper introduces the principle of the position calibration in positron emission tomography detector module. A optimization algorithm of position calibration is elaborated, which used the output of the photomultipliers to calculate the position of the events, and based on the events count in different positions to educe the rough border of the 64 little detectors. Finally, position calibration of detector module in PET is achieved with iterative computation. (authors)
