AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To study the prognostic value of myocardial perfusion tomographic imaging in patients underwent percutaneous coronary angioplasty (PTCA) plus stent. Methods: 75 patients underwent 99Tcm-MIBI stress-rest myocardial perfusion tomographic imaging 6.91±2.99 months after PTCA. They were followed-up for 41.71±20.00 months, and we recorded unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, cardiac death and revascularization for cardiac events. Results: 25 patients had cardiac events during follow-up. And the cardiac event rate in patients with normal and fixed defects (5.9%, 16.7%) was significantly lower than those with reversible defects (52.5%)(χ2=10.94, P<0.017; χ2=6.57, P<0.017). Survival analysis showed that the time free of cardiac event in patients with normal and fixed defects was significantly shorter than those with reversible defects (χ2=7.37, P=0.0066, χ2=6.28, P=0.012), and the mean time free of carciac event in the latter was 33.8±5.0 months. Conclusions: The presence of reversible defects in post PTCA cardiac imaging predicts a higher cardiac event rate, the myocardial perfusion tomography imaging after PTCA is valuable in predicting the prognosis of patients after PTCA plus stent. AbstractAbstract
[en] The design and realization of software for a system which can automatically measure the quantum of radiation is discussed in this paper. This system can get several kinds of radioactive quantum such as gamma, beta and aerosol. The data gotten by this system can be classified according to quantities and these data can be saved to access and SQL Server 2000 database. When the quantum of radiation exceeds the threshold set by user, alarm ring will sound automatically and instantly. (authors)

[en] Objective: To study the prognostic value of myocardial perfusion tomographic imaging in patients after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) plus stent. Methods: Seventy-five patients underwent 99Tcm-methoxyisobutylisonitrile (MIBI) stress-rest myocardial perfusion tomographic imaging (6.91 ± 2.99) months after PTCA. They were then followed-up for (41.71 ± 20.00) months, and unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, cardiac death and revascularization for cardiac events were recorded during follow-up. Results: Twenty-five patients had cardiac events during follow-up. And the cardiac event rate in patients with normal and fixed defects(5.9%, 16.7%) was significantly lower than that in those with reversible defects (52.5%, χ2=10.94, P<0.017; χ2=6.57, P<0.017). Conclusion: The presence of reversible defects on post-PTCA cardiac imaging predicts a higher cardiac event rate, the myocardial perfusion tomography imaging after PTCA is valuable for predicting the prognosis of patients after PTCA plus stent. AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of determination of changes of serum thyroid hormones levels after operation in patients with pituitary ademoma. Methods: Serum FT3, FT4,TSH (with CMA) and rT3 (with RIA) levels were determined in 50 patients with pituitary adenoma both before and one week after operation as well as in 86 controls. Results: The serum FT4 and rT3 levels in the patients before operation were significantly lower than those in controls, but the FT3 and TSH levels were not significantly different. Post-operatively, FT3 levels dropped markedly, but rT3 levels rose markedly while the FT4, TSH levels were not greatly changed. Conclusion: There were mild thyroid dysfunction in patients with apparently nonfunctioning pituitary adenoma. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Visual Reality (VR) technology is the computer-simulation of the real environment. A wide range of jobs can be done by use of VR system, such as training of workers, all kinds of virtual experimentals and operations, real-time calculation/display of data and so on. At present, VR has been used successfully in many aspects of radiation protection in some institutes abroad, such as training of workers, ALARA design and analysis, calculation and display of radiation field/dose distribution, etc. The VR has just been applied in the field of radiation protection in China. The experiencees learned shows that the VR technology application in radiation protection can both reduce operational cost and doses to worker effectively. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nature of solitary pulmonary nodules (SPN) are commonly identified by chest radiographs and computerized tomography (CT) which can't find out accurately the malignancy in general. Biopsies are often performed to evaluate the nodules further. However it can induce complication or death. As a safe and non-invasive method, characterized by high sensitivity, high specificity and high accuracy in differentiations between benign and malignant SPN, PET can decrease greatly the number of unnecessary diagnostic thoracotomy and related operation cost. So it would be used widely in the future

AbstractAbstract
[en] Differentiating benign tumor from malignancy, diagnosing the metastasis and recurrence of cancer and coronary artery disease (CAD), PET possesses high specificity and sensitivity , and the high accuracy. but the check methods being used are not replaced by it. Because the cost of PET is too expensive. Is there no feasibility in using PET like that? The analyses for the cost-effectiveness of PET to expatiate on which PET is economical and accurate. So it swill substitute for the present check methods

AbstractAbstract
[en] Composite materials for tritium were determined through the technique of trapping the permeating tritium with water. Testing on mechanical properties such as tensile experiment was performed for both Polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) films and composite materials. Chemical performance was determined by calculating the dissolved rate in the acid and alkali, breaking strength, loss rate and stripping strength loss rate. The results showed that the gas tritium permeability through the composite materials was 3.44 × 10-10 m3/(m2·s), 1/70 relative to the PVC films. The fracture strength of PVDC films was increased by about 20 times, and the warp and weft breaking strength was 721 N. After the immersion of 5 kinds of chemical reagents, the maximum loss ratio of 0.29% and the maximum decrease of the breaking strength were 5.1%. Mechanical properties and chemical performance of tritium proof polymer composite meet the demand of Protective clothing-protective clothing against liquid acids and alkalis(GB 24540-2009). (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The hydrazino nicotinamide derivative as an effective bifunctional chelator is widely used to label human polyclonal IgG, chemotactic peptide and DNA oligonucleotides with 99Tcm. So many potentially useful radiopharmaceuticals may be produced via the hydrazino nicotinamide derivative method. The hydrazino nicotinamide derivative synthesis and use in the radiopharmaceuticals labelling are concisely introduced
