[en] Results of laboratory and industrial tests conducted at Ul'ba Metallurgical Plant on leaching bertrandite - phenacite - fluorite flotation concentrate containing ∼4 wt. % beryllium in a rotary furnace using sulfuric acid are presented. The technology is shown to provide a 7.8% reduction in the net cost of beryllium production (1 kg) in the form of technical-grade Be(OH)2 by obviating the need of smelting beryllium concentrates and alkali fluxes. Besides, the technology permits concomitant production of H2SiF6, its commercial sales promoting a 17.6% reduction in beryllium production net cost

Представлены результаты лабораторных и промышленных испытаний, проведенных на Ульбинском металлургическом заводе, по сернокислотному вскрытию бертрандит-фенакит-флюоритового флотационного концентрата, содержащего ∼4 мас. % бериллия, во вращающейся печи. Показано, что данная технология обеспечивает снижение себестоимости производства 1 кг бериллия в виде технического Be(OH)2 на 7,8 % за счет отказа от необходимости сплавления бериллиевых концентратов со щелочными флюсами. [en] Phase equilibrium in the binary system UF6-BrF3 on condition of limited solubility of components at the temperature of 50 deg C is considered. Based on the results of the study of equilibrium between condensed system (solid-liquid) and vapor in the system UF6-BrF3 the condensed state-vapor phase equilibrium diagram was plotted. Thermodynamic analysis suggests that the data obtained permit identifying partial pressure of the solvent (bromine trifluoride) in saturated solution and ascertaining the solubility of less soluble component

Рассмотрено фазовое равновесие в бинарной системе UF6-BrF3 при условии ограниченной растворимости компонентов при температуре 50 град С. По результатам исследования равновесия между конденсированной системой (твердое-жидкость) и паром в системе UF6-BrF3 построена диаграмма фазовых равновесий конденсированное состояние-пар. На основе термодинамического анализа показано, что полученные данные позволяют определить парциальное давление растворителя (трифторида брома) в насыщенном растворе, а также определить растворимость менее растворимого компонентаOriginal Title
