[en] Λ hypernuclear spectroscopy is a major tool for investigating the Λ-N interaction, exploring the inner structure of nuclei and finding the possible changes in the property of the Λ particle embedded in nuclear media. Important results have been achieved by means of the electro-magnetic spectrometer and γ-ray spectrometer. Some features of the energy levels of hypernuclei such as the core excitation, the excitation of the Λ particle in a p-shell, the genuine state which can only be found in hypernuclei, etc. have been revealed; the spin dependent shell model parameters of p-shell hypernuclei have been determined experimentally; the shrinkage of _Λ⁷Li caused by the glue-like effect for a Λ sitting in the 0_s orbit has been discovered. However some discrepancies between experimental results and theoretical calculations need to be further investigated. (authors)

[en] The possible change of nuclear decay rates in different environments has long been an interesting topic due to its importance not only in nuclear physics but also in astrophysics, geological dating, condensed matter physics, etc. The progress in the investigation of variations in nuclear decay rates are reviewed. [en] The recent progress in gamma-ray spectroscopy of hypernuclei is described. The spin-flip M1 γ transition between the ground-state spin doublet of _Λ⁷Li has been observed. The transition energy provides crucial information on the strength of the spin-spin interaction between Λ and nucleons. The experimental results of B(E2; _Λ⁷Li 5/2⁺→1/2⁺) gives evidence that the size of the ⁶Li core in _Λ⁷Li is smaller than that for the ⁶Li nucleus in the free space, indicating that the glue-like effect of Λ caused the shrinkage of the _Λ⁷Li nucleus
