AbstractAbstract
[en] Si+ was implanted into top silicon of SOI (silicon on insulator) material formed by N+ implantation to amorphize its surface, interface area between the top and the buried layer, and the whole top silicon. Then these SOI wafers and those without implantation were implanted by B+ at 25 keV with dose of 1 x 1015/cm2 and annealed in dry N2 ambient at different temperatures in the range of 500 C deg to 900 C deg for 30 min. Glancing RBS/c measurement has shown that a solid phase epitaxial regrowth from the inner part of top silicon towards the surface or in the opposite direction exists respectively during post annealing if the surface or interface area of top silicon is amorphized. When the whole top silicon is amorphized, there is a phase transition from amorphous silicon to polysilicon for the silicon during post annealing in the temperature range from 500 C deg to 600 C deg, and no solid phase epitaxial regrowth is found when the temperature is increased to 900 C deg. Spreading resistance probe measurements show that the activation rate of implanted boron in the top silicon is lower than that in crystalline bulk silicon. The activation rate of implanted boron in the top silicon can be increased either by using Si+ implantation (to amorphize the surface or the interface area of top silicon) or by the solid phase epitaxial regrowth

AbstractAbstract
[en] Presently, a remote steering antenna is building for 4.6 GHz lower hybrid wave system on EAST, which needs 100 mm movable distance and very strong basis as well as absolutely reliable limiting stroke. For reliable structure strength better than any section bar, this paper presents 3 kinds of different high-strength welding holder and support, which are named as support frame, fixed foundation, limiting stroke. All of them are made of 316L stainless steel. Three types of welding structures are employed designed as frame structure, plug-welding structure and portal strengthened square steel welding component. Result computed by ANSYS shows that structure strengthen of 3 supports is stable and firmly reliable. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The winding machine is one of the critical facilities for R and D of HT-7U construction. The machine mainly consists of five parts, CICC pay-off spool, a four-rollers straightening assembly, a four-roller forming/bending assembly, continuous winding structure and CNC control system with three-axis CNC control. The facility is needed for CICC magnet fabrication of HT-7U. The main requirements of the winding machine are: continuous winding to reduce number of joints inside the coils; pre-forming CICC conductor to avoid winding with tension; suitable for all TF and PF coils within the scope of various coil shape and dimension limit; improving the configuration tolerance, specially flatness of the CICC conductor. The author emphasizes on the design and realization on function of Pre-forming and Continuous Winding for HT-7U special winding machine. The winding machine with high accuracy has just been developed and applied to the construction of HT-7U model coils

AbstractAbstract
[en] The active cooling structures consisting of long straight waveguide, 2 kinds of waveguide elbows, antenna unit were designed. A general finite element simulation software ANSYS is employed to calculate the heat generation and convection cooling on these components. Temperature distribution contour and structural deformation on components are calculated and shown. Optimized cooling plate on straight waveguide is the double cooling. Numerical results show that cooling structure on H-bend waveguide is better than that on E-bend. Instead of the original cooling tunnel on antenna unit, the temperature on head is too high and the thermal stress is too large to apply this design, the temperature rise on front end and thermal deformation of the optimized antenna unit meet the demands of LHCD experiments. AbstractAbstract
[en] The novel three-layer dielectric transmission grating under the Bragg incidence, which can be used as a polarizer, has been designed. According to the modal method, under the conditions of operating wavelength of 800 nm, duty cycle of 0.5 and period of 552 nm, the thickness of three grating layers can be roughly calculated. After that, the rigorous coupled-wave analysis method based on Maxwell’s theory is used to obtain more suitable grating parameter, which makes the grating diffraction efficiency higher. Under the Bragg incidence, the diffraction efficiencies of TE polarization in −1st order and TM polarization in 0th order can both exceed 96%. The novel three-layer grating has not only high diffraction efficiency but also the wide incident angle bandwidth. The optimized results show that the grating has good performance and good application value in the field of multi-channel laser device. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A triple Langmuir probe was installed at the top of the lower hybrid (LH) antenna in the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST). The probe system consists of a triple probe, a measurement circuit, data acquisition and data processing. The preliminary results show that injection of LH power increases the density in front of the LH grill. The relationship between grill densities and reflection coefficients (RCs) agrees with the theoretical prediction. The optimum density for LH coupling in EAST was measured, being in range of (4 ∼ 5 × 10"1"7m"-"3. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To summarize the characteristic of muscle MRI of lower limbs in patients with GNE myopathy and to explore the correlation between the fatty degenerative score of muscle MRI and clinical phenotype. Methods: This was a prospective study. Seventeen patients with genetically confirmed GNE myopathy, having lower limb muscle MRI test and completed clinical and laboratory data. The degree of fatty degeneration in 18 muscles of lower limbs in each patient was grading. According to the GM-W score, these patients were divided into two groups. GM-W score ≤ 3 were divided into mild group (n = 8) and GM-W score ≥ 4 were divided into severe group(n = 9). Kruskal-Wallis test was used to compare the fatty degenerative score in different muscles of the thigh and the calf level; Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare score of the same muscle between mild and severe group; Spearman rank correlation test was used to analysis the relationship between fatty degenerative score and the course of disease (year), GM-W score, creatinine kinase (IU/L), respectively. Results: At the thigh level, the most severely involved muscle of GNE myopathy was semi-tendinosus and adductor, followed by semi-membranous, biceps femoris and gracilis. There was no statistically significant difference in the fatty degenerative score of the above-mentioned muscles (P = 0.058). At the calf level, the most severely involved muscle was medial of soleus which score was 4.0(3.0, 4.0), followed by tibialis anterior, extensor digitorum longus and lateral of soleus. There was no significant difference of the above (P = 0.259). The fatty degenerative score showed difference between the mild and severe group at sartorius and adductor (P < 0.05). At the calf level, the fatty degenerative score in peroneus longus, medial of soleus, lateral of soleus, medial of gastrocnemius and lateral of gastrocnemius showed difference between groups(P < 0.05). The total score of fatty degenerative of Lower limb muscles was positively correlated with GM-W score(r = 0.730, P < 0.05). There were positive correlations between the score of fatty degenerative of the sartorius, peroneal longus, lateral of soleus, medial of gastrocnemius, lateral of gastrocnemius and the GM-W scores(r = 0.630, 0.845, 0.569, 0.591, 0.640, 0.659, P < 0.05). The total score of fatty degenerative of Lower limb muscles was not correlated with the level of creatine kinase(P = 0.582), course of disease(P = 0.601) and age of onset(P = 0.850). Conclusions: GNE myopathy in the thigh level within the adductor muscle and posterior muscle involvement, calf level to the tibial anterior muscle early involvement. The total score of fatty degenerative of lower limb muscles is positively correlated with GM-W score, but not correlated with the level of creatine kinase, course of disease and age of onset.
