AbstractAbstract
[en] Vanadium oxide thin films prepared by magnetron sputtering methods have been studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The quantitative relations between the phases of vanadium oxide films and the V 2p3/2 binding energy in the XPS were obtained. The AFM images show the vanadium dioxide thin films clearly. The electronic, micro and macro properties of VO2 thin film are coincident with its optical and electrical measurements

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Short Range order (SRO) in Fe84B10C6 amorphous alloy was studied by means of nuclear magnetic resonance and Moessbauer effect experiments. A detailed investigation was carried out to look for the optimum annealing conditions for the SRO study. It is found that there are body-centered tetragonal Fe3B-like and orthorhombic Fe3 (B,C)-like SRO in the as-quenched alloy. In studying the SRO in amorphous alloy by crystallization, a lower annealing temperature (slightly higher than the crystallization-initiation point of the amorphous alloy) and a shorter annealing time are recommended

AbstractAbstract
[en] Based on the 3He/4He data of the main oil-gas bearing basins in continental China, a systematic study has been made for the first time on the relations between the space distribution of the helium isotopes of natural gas and the tectonic environment. The average value R-bar of 3He/4He in eastern China bordering on the Pacific Ocean is 2.08 x 10-6>Ra, and that is dualistic mixed helium containing mantle source helium. The R-bar of central and western China is 4.96 x 10-8, and that is mainly crust source radioactive helium. The R-bar of Huabei and Zhongyuan oil-gas fields is 8.00 x 10-7, and that is a kind of transitional helium intercepted between the eastern region and the central western region of China. On the whole, the 3He/4He values decrease gradually with the distance from the subduction zone of the Western Pacific Ocean. The results show that the space distributions of the helium isotopes is controlled by the tectonic environment, that is the environment of tensile rift, especially in the neighborhood of deep megafractures advantageous to the rise of mantle source helium, so then and there the 3He/4He value is the highest; In the most stable craton basins, the value is the lowest and the helium is a typical crust source radioactive one. Between the active area (rift) and stable area, there is the transitional helium and its value is 10-7, as is the case in Huabei-Zhongyuan oil-gas field

AbstractAbstract
[en] Specimens of a Cu-25.75 wt% Zn-4.01 wt% Al alloy are quenched directly or step-quenched from 850 degree C. The configuration and recovery behavior of defects are investigated by means of the positron annihilation. The results showed that there were two kinds of vacancy in this alloy: on started to migrated below room temperature and the other recovered between room temperature and 200 degree C, the vacancy clusters collapsed and formed dislocation loops in this temperature range. The activation energy for migration of vacancy type defects, EVM0.91 +- 0.10 eV, is obtained, the formation energy of accuracy, EAV = 0.71 eV, is estimated in the alloy

[en] The authors presents some experimental results of amorphous alloy Fe39Ni39Mo4Si12B6 after fast neutron (14 MeV) irradiation with neutron fluence of 1014 n/cm2 by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Moessbauer spectroscopy (MS). Furthermore, the influence of neutron irradiation on microstructure is discussed

[en] The cross sections for 67Zn (n, p)67Cu and 66Zn (n, 2n)65Zn have been measured by using the activation method relative to the cross sections of 27Al n, α)24Na in the neutron energy range 13.50∼14.80 MeV. The results are compared with the published data. The neutron energies were determined by the method of cross section ratios for the reactions 90Zr (n, 2n)8'9Zr by 93Nb (n, 2n)92mNb

AbstractAbstract
[en] The effects of ion beam mixing on corrosion resistance of iron under different conditions are studied. Anodic polarization tests show that the titanium-coated pure iron samples processed by nitrogen ion bombardments exhibit excellent self-passivation in H2SO4 solutions, indicating that the corrosion resistance of iron is considerably improved by nitrogen ion beam mixing. Argon ion beam mixing is found to have no effect on improving the corrosion resistance of titanium-coated pure iron. The XPS analysis and that of X-ray thin-film diffraction appendage show that nitrogen ion bombardments on the samples of titanium-coated iron form a uniform film of titanium on their surfaces, which explains the significant improvement of their corrosion resistance
