AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper represents induced currents in an electrically conductive object as a totality of elementary eddy currents. The proposed scanning method includes measurements of only one component of the secondary magnetic field. Reconstruction of the current distribution is performed by deconvolution with regularization. Numerical modeling supported by the field experiments show that this approach is of direct practical relevance.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Complex studies of the defect structure of arsenic-implanted (with the energy of 190 keV) CdxHg1–xTe (x = 0.22) films grown by molecular-beam epitaxy are carried out. The investigations were performed using secondary-ion mass spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, optical reflection in the visible region of the spectrum, and electrical measurements. Radiation donor defects were studied in n+–p- and n+–n-structures obtained by implantation and formed on the basis of p-type and n-type materials, respectively, without activation annealing. It is shown that in the layer of the distribution of implanted ions, a layer of large extended defects with low density is formed in the near-surface region followed by a layer of smaller extended defects with larger density. A different character of accumulation of electrically active donor defects in the films with and without a protective graded-gap surface layer has been revealed. It is demonstrated that p+–n- structures are formed on the basis of n-type material upon activation of arsenic in the process of postimplantation thermal annealing with 100% activation of impurity and complete annihilation of radiation donor defects.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper focuses on studying the kinetics of radiation-induced point defects formed in TiN/SiNx multilayer nanocomposites with account of their generation, diffusion recombination, and the influence of sinks functioning as interfaces. In order to describe the kinetics in nanocrystalline TiN and amorphous SiNx phases, a finite-difference method is used to solve the system of balance kinetic equations for absolute defect concentrations depending on the spatiotemporal variables. A model of the disclination-dislocation interface structure is used to study the absorption of radiation-induced point defects on the boundaries in created stress fields. It is shown that the interface effectively absorbs point defects in these phases of TiN/SiNx multilayer nanocomposite, thereby reducing their amount within the space between phases. This behavior of point defects partially explains a mechanism of the radiation resistance in this type of nanocomposites.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper presents research results on enhancing the peak power of microwave pulses with sub- and nanosecond length using a backward-wave oscillator (BWO) operating at 29 GHz frequency and possessing a reproducible phase structure. Experiments are conducted in two modes on a high-current electron accelerator with the required electron beam power. In the first (superradiation) mode, which utilizes the elongated slow-wave structure, the BWO peak power is 3 GW at 180 ns pulse duration (full width at halfmaximum, FWHM). In the second (quasi-stationary) mode, the BWO peak power reaches 600 MW at ~2 ns pulse duration (FWHM). The phase spread from pulse to pulse can vary from units to several tens of percent in a nanosecond pulse mode. The experiments do not show any influence of microwave breakdown on the BWO power generation and radiation pulse duration.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Luminescence characteristics of yttrium-aluminum garnet based phosphor samples differed by their elemental composition and prehistory of synthesis are studied. The morphology, structure, and elemental composition of phosphor samples, their excitation and emission spectra, efficiency of phosphor conversion of chip emission, and kinetics of luminescence decay are measured. The emission characteristics of phosphors are compared with their structural properties and elemental composition.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of an investigation of Mg diffusion in blue LED structures with InGaN/GaN quantum wells are presented for various growth temperatures of the p-GaN layer. The values of the diffusion coefficient estimated for true growth temperatures of 860, 910, and 980°C were 7.5·10–17, 2.8·10–16, and 1.2·10–15 cm2/s, respectively. The temperature values given in the work were measured on the surface of the growing layer in situ using a pyrometer. The calculated activation energy for the temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficient was 2.8 eV.

AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper is a continuation of a series of papers by the author in which it is shown that the equations of comtemporary quantum theory (the Klein-Gordon equation and the Dirac integral equation) can be interpreted as conditions of harmonicity of linear form in the manifold sV4. In this paper, geometrization of classical and quantum interactions of a physical object is performed for the case of an arbitrary external force field in the manifold kV4. This manifold is constructed on the same set of surfaces as the manifold sV4. The equation representing conditions of harmonicity of linear form in kV4 is derived and is analogous to the Klein Gordon equation
