AbstractAbstract
[en] Gamma radiation spectrum in the 143Nd(n, n', γ) reaction with the target of Nd2O3 enriched up to 83% in 143Nd has been measured under the angle of 90 deg to the fast neutron beam with Ge(Li) detector. The energies and intensities of 86 γ-transitions, which are placed in the scheme consisting of 37 levels, have been determined in the energy range of 90-2600 keV. The characteristics of the following levels are defined more exactly: 1228.29 (13/2+), 1407.28 (9/2-), 1431.49 (11/2-), 1739.12 (9/2-), 1851.96 (7/2-, 9/2-), 1852.78 (3/2-), 1910.74 (5/2-), 1988.24 (11/2-), 2011.49 (7/2-), 2019.17 (15/2+), 2075.39 (11/2+), 2094.53 (11/2-), 2135.17 (7/2-), 2186.43 (7/2-), 2197.31 (11/2-), 2398.85 (7/2-, 9/2-), 2483.42 (11/2+, 13/2+), 2556.67 (5/2-, 7/2-). Unplaced transitions allow us to suppose an existence of several unknown levels with I=5/2-9/2 in the energy interval 2.5-3.0 MeV, which arise in the given reaction

AbstractAbstract
[en] The kinetics of immobile Frenkel defect accumulation is computer simulated by the Monte Carlo method. The dependence of space correlations in the defect distribution on their recombination rate is qualitatively studied. For the simplest case of the instant recombination (the ''black'' sphere model) and for pair-defect correlations of spherical type, an equation has been obtained which describes the process kinetics. The correctness of various theories has been tested for their adequacy to the description of primary-correlated defects accumulation

AbstractAbstract
[en] The discrete eigenvalue spectrum of the oblate spheroidal equation is split into the pairs of interrelated values, separated by the intervals which are exponentially small with respect to the parameter of the problem p. The natural characteristics of each such pair are a half-sum of the eigenvalues of its components and a value of splitting of eigenvalues within the pair which are represented as an expansion of the power series of l/p. The method for obtaining the formulae, asymptotic in terms of the number, for the coefficients of the specified series is proposed and implemented. The results show a good agreement with the calculations carried out

AbstractAbstract
[en] Internal conversion electron spectra have been measured at thermal neutron capture by 152Eu nuclei. Measurements ware performed using a β-spectrograph with the resolution of 0i22% (at 126 keV energy), the electron energy range being 40-250 keV. Multipolarities for the majority of the recorded transitions have been defined. Gamma spectrum is given for fast neutron inelastic scattering on 153Eu. The measured energy range of gamma transitions is 400-900 keV, and most of these transitions are included in the level scheme. The latter as considerably extended for the excitation energy range of 600-800 keV

AbstractAbstract
[en] To clarify the mechanism of radiation energy transfer from the crystal lattice to impurity centres, X-ray excited NaI-Tl luminescence was studied in the temperature range of 8-300 K (activator concentration being of 10-2-2x10-1 mol%). The structure and intensity of some spect.ral roentgenoluminescent bands have been found to depend on the activator concentration and temperature. The contribution of the energy transfer mechanism is discussed as caused by self-radiation reabsorption and the processes of electron and hole migration and trapping

AbstractAbstract
[en] To develop high quality ferroelectric ceramics with improved optical characteristics, a method of instrumental neutron activation analysis for pure zirconium and lanthanum compounds - raw materials for ferroelectrics - has been developed. The IRT nuclear reactor and Ge(La) gamma-spectrometer were used. The method allows to detect 21 element impurities. Al, V, Mg have been determined by short-living nuclides; La, Sm, Lu, Ba, Rb, Pa, Cr, Yb, Ce, Hf, Fe, Sb, Tb, Sc, Ta, Cs, Co, Eu - by long-living nuclides. Detection limits are 1x10-1 - 2x10-7%. The analysis by long-living nuclides can be used to determine some rare-earths which hardly could be defined by other analytical methods

AbstractAbstract
[en] Basic formulae for the calculation of level energies and gamma-transition probabilities using modified Nilsson potential including epsilon4-deformation and taking into account pairing interaction and Coroiolis mixing are presented The computer codes for the level energy calculations via Nilsson potential and effective matrix element methods as well as for the calculations of gamma-transition probabilities and level lifetimes are described. The proposed ocomplex of programs allows to make the complicated calculations easier and provides the information on nuclear structure in an acceptable form

AbstractAbstract
[en] 135Ba and 137Ba gamma-radiation energies and intensities have been measured under fast neutron beam impact for the energy range of 0.1-2.6 MeV. The measurements were carried out on targets of 21.6 g enriched in 135Ba up to 94 % and 137Ba - up to 82 %. For 135Ba gamma spectrum there observed 118 transitions and for that of 137Ba - 109 transitions. Cross sections of isomeric state production are determined for 268.2 keV (11/2-) 135Ba and 661.6 keV (11/2-) 137Ba which are 0.35 (10) and 0.27 (3), respectively
