AbstractAbstract
[en] The concentration and depth profile of an element in host material decides its properties and therefore it is of immense interest to material scientists. Out of many techniques which are employed for surface and depth analysis, the accelerator based nuclear techniques have a unique feature of probing the material under investigation in a non-destructive way. AbstractAbstract
[en] The opposing views of local hidden variables theories and quantum theory are discussed along with the differences between their experimental predictions. The underlying basis of a non-local discrete time difference quantum theory is also reviewed along with its experimental predictions and relationship to a non-local hidden variable theory. Lastly some of the fundamental properties of the binomial probability distribution are reviewed with the intent in stressing that a fundamental binary distribution may provide us with the ultimate answers to questions regarding locality and completeness along with the generic structure of pre-geometry.
