AbstractAbstract
[en] The non-canonical Heisenberg dipole regularization of a nonlinear spinor field is interpreted as a system of lepton quark pairs in the one-particle sector. In the framework of functional quantum theory a method is given to derive an independent lepton-quark dynamics with quark confinement from the fundamental spinor field. (orig.)

[en] The shift by hydrogen of the 535.0 nm Tl line resulting from photodissociation of thallium iodide was investigated at low densities. A linear variation of the shift with the hydrogen density was found with a shift coefficient of - (0.443 +- 0.012) x 10-20 cm-1/(molecules cm-3). (orig.)

[en] The scattering of cold neutrons (lambda = 1 nm) with amorphous Fe8011B20 yields a strong contribution at small q = 4 πsinTHETA/lambda (0.07 (nm)-1 <= q <= 2.4 (nm)-1) arising from two kinds of defects of different size: i) Local defects with an extent of about 1.5 nm, ii) extended defects with an extent of about 40 to 60 nm, which are interpreted as quasi-dislocations in the amorphous material. AbstractAbstract
[en] The unequilibrated hypersthene chondrite Yamato-74191 was studied mass spectrometrically for rare gases released at various temperatures. Cosmogenic gases dominate in He and Ne. The meteorite contains large amounts of trapped Ar, Kr and Xe, and radiogenic 40Ar and 129Xe. Cosmic-ray irradiation and K-Ar ages were determined. In addition to spallogenic components of Kr and Xe, isotopic excesses of 8sup(O)Kr, 82Kr, 128Xe and 126Xe relative to AVCC-Kr and -Xe were found. The ratio of 80Kr-excess to 82Kr-excess is 2.66 after correction for spallogenic Kr. A correlation between 128Xe/132Xe and 129Xe/132Xe was found. The 129Xe/132Xe ratio for trapped Xe in Yamato-74191 was determined as 1.12 +- 0.29 with the correlation plot. The excesses found in Yamato-74191 are best explained by epithermal neutron capture on Br and I, and by the 127I(n,2nβ) 126Xe reaction. Using neutron-produced 80Kr, the neutron slowing-down density was estimated to be 0.14 +- 0.03 cm-3 sec-1. A minimum mass and a preatmospheric radius was estimated to be 470 kg and 32 cm, respectively. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The concentrations of Fe, Ni, Co, P, Cu, Ga, Ge, Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, W, Ir and Pt in the phosphides and the metal of the coarse octahedrites Campo del Cielo, Canyon Diablo, Cranbourne and Sardis, the coarsest octahedrite Sao Juliao de Moreira and the hexahedrites Braunau and Lombard have been determined by spark source mass spectrometry. Striking differences are observed of the element contents between bulk meteorite and the phosphides as well as between the different phosphide modifications schreibersite and rhabdite. Extreme values are a 20 fold depletion of Ga and a 40 times higher content of Pd in the phosphides. A particularly strong correlation between the noble metal element content and size of phosphide aggregates is observed; it is shown that this correlation is not an artifact of the sample preparation but that is must be real. AbstractAbstract
[en] Cosmic-ray-produced stable nuclides of Ca (mass number: 42, 43, 44, and 46), Ti(46, 47, 49 and 50). V(50), Cr (50, 53 and 54) and the long-lived nuclides, 40K and 53Mn were determined along the radial axes of the iron meteorites Grant and Treysa. Grant was extensively examined and the results compared with rare gas data..Although Treysa does not include enough samples to allow detailed analysis, the depth profile shows typical features for a small meteorite. The results were compared with calculated profiles of 40K, 49Ti and 53Mn using thick bombardment data. The approximate pre-atmospheric radii of Grant and Treysa were determined to be 30 cm and 14 cm. respectively. The effect of space erosion was also estimated by comparing the data of 49Ti and radioactive 53Mn in Grant and Treysa with the calculated patterns. It is suggested that space erosion of both meteorities is small (< approx. 0.8 Angstroem/y) during the cosmic-ray exposure of several hundred million years. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the present paper the nonlinear differential equation describing the selective decomposition of a molecule as an unimolecular reaction has be deduced from the usual time dependent semi-classical Schroedinger equation. The selective conditions for the instability of a molecule are discussed. The thresholds of the required laser intensities for ICl and HCl diatomic molecules are estimated respectively, where on type of isotope molecules ought to be decomposed for hundred per cent in a laser pulse for different pulse widths. And possibly selective decomposition of the molecule without permanent dipole moment by Raman process is also discussed briefly. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] By means of X-ray scattering and ultrasonic experiments, the structure of different melts of the Cd-Ga system was investigated. The structure factors S(q) obtained for the pure elements agree well with those reported by other authors. The concentration dependence of the structure factors shows no special features. From the structure factors, the total pair-distribution functions were calculated by a Fourier transformation. The nearest-neighbour distances, obtained from the total pair-distribution functions, amount to 3.04 Angstroem for pure Cd and 2.83 Angstroem for pure Ga and are nearly constant for all alloys. The concentration dependence of the experimental nearest-neighbour distances and coordination numbers was determined and is compared with statistical distribution and macroscopic segregation models. These comparisons tend to indicate a preference for like-atom neighbours. From the long-wavelenght limit S(0) of the structure factors of Cd and Ga, the isothermal compressibilities were calculated. These show a satisfactory agreement with those calculated from adiabatic sound velocity data. The anomalous ultrasonic absorption of a single melt with nearly critical concentration indicates the existence of concentration fluctuations. This result is in agreement with those obtained by X-ray small-angle scattering experiments which are described in Part 2 of this work. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The phonon dispersion, temperature dependence of the Debye temperature, Debye-Waller factor, and Grueneisen parameter of potassium are calculated using a realistic lattice dynamical model. The model considers short range pairwise forces effective upto second nieghbors and an improved electron ion interaction on the lines of Bhatia. An equilibrium condition, which preserves the crystal stability, is obtained. The theoretical results are found to be in good agreement with the experimental values. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A Heisenberg S = 3/2 ferromagnet with isotropic biquadratic exchange and dipole-octupol coupling is discussed. The conditions for the exact ferromagnetic ground state are derived. The thermodynamical behaviour in the molecular field approximation is discussed. Collective excitation spectra and the 1/z correction to the free energy are found. (orig.)
