AbstractAbstract
[en] UO2(NO3)2 as a target was irradiated with a 60 MeV/nucleon 18O8+ ion beam, and dissolved in aqua regia. The uranyl was removed from 6 mol/L HNO3 by means of solvent extraction with TBP in benzene, and the barium was separated by BaCl2 precipitation. A 0.4 mol/L solution of HDEHP in n-heptane was used for extraction of rare earth elements from 0.5 mol/L HCl, and back extraction was carried out with an equal volume of 8 mol/L HCl after the organic phase was diluted by adding the same volume of n-heptane. A carrier-free multi-tracer solution containing 18 radionuclides of 12 rare earth elements was prepared

AbstractAbstract
[en] Highly oriented and transparent polycrystalline ZnO films have been prepared by RF actively sputtering technique on normal glass wafer. X-ray diffraction technique (XRD) was employed to analyze the effects of the pressure ratio of O2 to the total pressure, R(Po2/PAr), and substrate temperature Ts on structure of the films. With the increase of the parameters, R and Ts up to the critical point, the films structure properties are optimized. Under the optimized conditions (R = 40%, Ts = 400 degree C), only ZnO (002) peak is in XRD spectrum and the full width at half maximum (FWHM) is 0.20 degree, with the largest grain size of films calculated reaching 42.8 nm. The average transmission in the wavelength ranging from 300 nm to 1000 nm is about 92%. The packing density of 97% evaluated in the light of refractive index measured by ellipsometer indicates that the optimal sample is of good optical quality

[en] By using the result of X-ray diffraction, standard strain gauge measurement and Moessbauer spectra, the effects of Al in substitution for Fe on the structure, the properties and spin reorientation of Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 have been studied. It is found that all alloys of Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 retain the C-15 cubic Laves phase structure and the lattice constants increase with higher Al contents. Al-containing compounds possess slightly larger saturation magnetostriction in a low field and lower anisotropy compared with higher Al-free material. As Al increases, magnetostriction decreases rapidly in a high field, and its resistivity and anti-press strength increase fairly. From the Moessbauer spectra, the average hyperfine-field decreases with higher Al content and the presence of the spin reorientation has been observed due to the substitution of Al for Fe in Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 system

[en] The Nd(Fe1-xCox)9Si2Cy(0 < x ≤ 0.5, 0.5 ≤ y ≤1.5) compounds were synthesized by using the arc-melting technique. Studies on X-ray diffraction indicate that the positions of the metal atoms correspond to the BaCd11 type of structure and that the unit-cell volume increase with the addition of C atoms. AbstractAbstract
[en] Baishuihe River is a tributary of Datong River, located on the southern slope of Lenglongling in the eastern part of the Qilian Mountains. An integral end till remains at the entrance of the valley. There is a push moraine in the till section. Three samples were derived from this section. Two samples were collected at the front of the push moraine and another sample (near the push moraine) collected from the rear of it, ESR ages were 73.0 ka, 55.8 ka, 36.7 ka respectively. The ESR ages being consistent with the relationship of deposits. The ages before the push moraine were correlated to the deep-sea oxygen isotope stage 4 within 10% deviation. Based on them, the authors could determine the till before the push moraine were formed in the early period of Last Glaciation. Comparing the ESR age of LS-5 with the results of previous 14C, the authors found that the ESR age was older. Through the error correction, the authors concluded: the existing push moraine distorted the till around it, mixing the super-glacial till, englacial till and subglacial till together. The authors considered: the main reason influencing the ESR age was that the englacial till and the subglacial till were not exposed completely before they deposited. Although the result of LS-5 was older than the previous 14C, combining the ESR age and the relationship of deposit and the existing 14C ages, the authors inferred that the rear of the push moraine was deposited in the later period of the last glaciation and was correlated to the deep-sea oxygen isotope stage 2. At the same time, the conclusion once again proved the previous scholars' conclusion. This shows the ESR technique may be applied to glacial till dating

AbstractAbstract
[en] The long-term trends of tree-ring δ 13C series, taken respectively from Qilian of Qinghai and Zhaosu and Aleitai of xinjiang were compared. The results showed that a similar trend existed between Qilian series and Zhaosu series, while there was a significant difference between them and Aleitai series. The authors' analysis indicated that the site difference of the trends of tree-ring δ 13C series was mainly associated with 'canopy effects' of tree growth. It is suggested that tree samples should be selected from sparse forests or the sampled tree foliage high above the whole canopy when the history of δ 13C of atmospheric CO2 was reconstructed by tree-ring series

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Short Range order (SRO) in Fe84B10C6 amorphous alloy was studied by means of nuclear magnetic resonance and Moessbauer effect experiments. A detailed investigation was carried out to look for the optimum annealing conditions for the SRO study. It is found that there are body-centered tetragonal Fe3B-like and orthorhombic Fe3 (B,C)-like SRO in the as-quenched alloy. In studying the SRO in amorphous alloy by crystallization, a lower annealing temperature (slightly higher than the crystallization-initiation point of the amorphous alloy) and a shorter annealing time are recommended

[en] A measurement method of D(4He, 4He)D elastic recoil excitation function using thick target is presented. The excitation function in energy region 2.7 ∼ 4.5 MeV at θ = 30 degree was measured. The measured values were compared with Rutherford recoil cross sections. It was found that in this energy region, D(4He, 4He)D recoil cross sections were much larger than Rutherford recoil cross sections

AbstractAbstract
[en] H2,O2RF (radio frequency) plasma annealing as a function of pressure, temperature, and time is studied in detail when the Si/SiO2 system is radiated by O2 plasma. The results show that RF H2 and O2 plasma annealings can effectively remove radiated damage, and that the fixed charges Nf and interface states Nss are closely associated with the placed pattern of the wafer and the annealing ambient, respectively
