AbstractAbstract
[en] Ion chromatography using pellicular ion exchange resins and dilute solution can be devoted to the study of ion exchange thermodynamics and kinetics. Ion exchange equilibrium equation was obtained, and examined by the experiments. Based on ion exchange equilibrium, the influence of eluant concentration and resin capacity on adjusted retention volumes was examined. The effect of temperature on adjusted retention volumes was investigated and heats of ion exchange of seven anions were determined by ion chromatography. The interaction between anions and skeleton structure of resins were observed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The author reviews the developments on the liquid-liquid extraction mechanism of uranium (VI), including the classification of the binary and ternary synergic system of uranium. The principle of synergism, application of orthogonal array in ternary synergic extraction system, application of cone packing model in uranium extraction. Thermodynamics studies of synergistic extraction by titration calorimetry, and formation of reversed micelles and water in oil microemulsions were used to explain the mechanics of extraction

AbstractAbstract
[en] The application of extraction by supported liquid membranes (SLM) in flow injection analysis (FIA) on-line separation has been investigated. The principle of a SLM process is that the organic phase is adsorbed to a porous hydrophobic membrane separating the two aqueous phases which correspond to the feed and strip solution in the extraction process. It shows that SLM separations can be used in FIA. It can supply another rapid and automatic analysis method for determining uranium (VI). In the FIA system, trace uranium (VI) in samples is determined under a having existed determination conditions after trace uranium (VI) being separated by SLM. A determination range of the method is 10∼100 μg/mL and the relative standard deviation (RSD) is 0.9%, the determination speed is 20 samples/h. The membrane can be used for a month. (over 100 samples)

[en] Some instances have occurred for that road constructions were likely to meet with some high grade uranium mine in some provinces with abundant uranium resource and developed economy. Some of the constructions have made assessment for the radiation risk. The author discusses the problems existent in the assessments

AbstractAbstract
[en] A method of HAZOP analysis was used to carry out the risk analysis of carbon dioxide and oxygen supply systems for CO_2 + O_2 in situ leaching project in a uranium mine. Through identifying the potential risks which existed in equipment and operating procedures, the possible consequences were analyzed. Aimed at existing problems, corresponding suggestions and measures were put forward. These measures can make the system to be optimized and reduce the possibility of the system fault, thus ensuring the normal operation of the in situ leaching system. (authors)
